I have the 8525, older verision of the tilt. Works really well and gets the job done. Internet had good speed and wifi is good too. Only problem is that the battery runs out pretty quickly, 3 or 4 hours if you keep on surfing the web every waking minute using the wifi.

I have the iPhone now and had the blackberry pearl, both on tmobile. I know you are looking for a different version BB but I really loved mine for email and quick surfing. The iPhone is great to play around on and stuff but is big, heavy, fragile (well im scared to put it in my back pocket and sit on it unlike the BB), and kinda ackward to talk on for too long. I just have one because I have sold numerous ones on ebay unlocked and wanted to make sure everything worked. If you do get the iPhone make sure you jailbreak it for AT&T so you dont have to sign up for another 2 year contract. I will be happy to help you out if you can't find good directions online

How is the 8525 for regular phone use, emailing, texting, and the camera? I just ordered one. I am not sure how much I would use the surfing, but will use the other features I mentioned. I might also use the inernet functions to look stuff up while on the job, but not sure yet how much. Does the battery last a while if you are not surfing?

i got the tilt, its wonderful, no compaints yets. modded it alittle bit, re-assigned the useless PTT button, add the SPB plug in, and a bunch of programs. If you want to save battery life i would recommend shutting off the 3G saves alot of battery life. I've use it quite often through out the day alot of WIFI use, and the battery usually lasts all day, i do have to charge it everynight, and somepeople dont like that, but thats just normal for me, i charged every phone i ever had nightly. emailing is good, text is fine, and the camera takes decent quality pictures, however it is kinda slow. hope you enjoy it.

Edit: If you are going to use it to look things up, i would recommend adding the treo plug in, to add your search field right on the home screen. FTW! You need any help with anything just drop me a line!
