Yes, and when I reset it it was unsecured. Both laptops could not be on at the same time even on the unsecured setting.
Well, I take that back, they could, but could not send information i.e. replying to this thread at the same time. Even then, it took probably two minutes for a webpage to load, because the router only sent information when the "Cisco Systems" amber light was solid (in between blinks).

I've had some experience with wireless routers and such and it seems like it was way too early for someone to suggest "buy a new router". We didn't even have all the details about OP's situation. OS versions on all the computers. Router settings, etc. Just reading his situation, I had more questions that I would've asked before saying "buy a new router". I'm not doubting the knowledge you have, I'm sure you know more than me Stunna but your quick solution of "buy a new router" sounds like something BestBuy's GeekSquad tells every one who brings their shit in to get fixed. For someone who says they know their shit about wireless systems, I would've viewed OP's problem as a challenge and not given the easy fix of "buy a new one".
Btw, I don't see any evidence of Mac address cloning. Both mac addresses on the laptops Gatr posted were different. And yes each wireless/ethernet device will have its own mac address.
Your wife's laptop's mac address (Physical Address: 78-E4-00-4E-60-43)
Your laptop's mac address (Physical Address: 90-00-4E-BF-C6-2E)
Hm actually, I'm not sure if what you posted on page 1 is your wired ethernet card or the wireless one. If you run "ipconfig /all" in command prompt, it'll tell you both the wired network adapter mac address and the wireless one.
You can also use a mac address filter to further add some security. I only add the mac addresses of the devices I know and allow to my router. I don't think that was your issue though Gatr. I would suggest trying to give a specific ip address to each laptop to see if that would work. So assign, 192.168.1.101 to yours, 192.168.1.111 to your wife's laptop and then 192.168.1.121 to the third. I think someone posted the link on how to do that earlier. It should be in the portforward.com link.

I'm running a Motorola Surfboard and a Netgear 3700 router and get these results:
I would take the new computer and hardwire it into the router. Go into the router login page and under maintenance, my Netgear, at least, has an "attached devices" button. If you click that and your SSID and password matches, it will find you MAC address for every piece of equipment in the house. Also at 2.4 GHz, make sure you are running on channel 11 and the security is WPA2-PSK [AES]. If you have a dual band put freq. 5 GHz on channel 153.
Also under my Advanced Wireless Settings, there is a button for Wireless cardd Access List. You may want to check that out as well.

From my experience setting this router up is never plug and play. I think it has a very buggy firmware and the hardware construction feels too light, not to mention the built in antennas reduce the range.
I was just going to suggest if you can statically input the IP address with the dns but I just saw your config. My guess would be the router having problems routing packets. What model E-series did you buy? I'll download the manual from cisco and see what the default config is.
I would update the firmware to the lastest non-beta version they have available for it. That should fix the issues. If not, I'd call the manufacturer and troubleshoot with them, if they can't figure out what's causing the issue they would send you a new or refurbished router.

It is the E2500 dual band wireless N router that I just bought... I had it set up within seven minutes of getting it home...

Lots of crap advice in this thread that's just wasting the OPs time. that mac clone thing is a joke, horrible advice. Only decent advice so far upgrading the firmware, hope it works but probably won't.

Well have you ever updated the firmware?
I also have a WRT54GS from like 5-6 years ago and it still works perfectly fine. Can connect any wireless device without problems. In the beginning I never used the wireless. Then maybe couple years ago I decided to set it up but had problems connecting. Turns out it just needed a firmware update......

I did what Cochese said to, and now it's working perfectly. So, just to reiterate, I did NOT need a new wireless router.
He will be getting a new LEGO set and nudes of da wifey.

Everyone still wants them for a reason.
