I'm gettin the Storm because I already have Verizon and my Q is about to die. It depends on what you actually plan on using the phone for. I've heard small differences such as being able to cut and paste on the Storm. I'm just a lil scared of getting a phone that isnt proven yet but that's what insurance is for!

I currently have Verizon service and the BB Pearl, but I'm debating this myself...the price is the same ($199), but the iPhone seems to have more/better features and apps than the Storm, with more built-in memory.

I do however like BB's and am intrigued by the "clickable" touchscreen of the Storm, so I'll have to see it and decide for myself.

they have their strengths and weaknesses.
iphone has great apps of course, great if u use it as an ipod as well, battery life is short (of course), texting isn't perfect (they should really use landscape mode almost all the time),

never used storm

well here are my reasoning for getting either one.

Storm: I have VZ now. I love the service! Bunch of my friends have VZ and wife... blah blah blah.
Storm has more memory 8GB card plus 1GB build-in.

Blackberry Email and this new Click type thing.

Removable battery!!!!

G3 but NO WIFI!!!

How many apps does VZ have? I like all the cool apps and games IPhone has.

IPhone: First of all I would have to change the service.

I use my Ipod a ton... so I wanted one thing for all my needs. I d/l bunch of Podcasts.

So I guess to sum it up... I liked Iphone for its apps and Itunes/podcasts.

I think that IPhone will struggle with battery life. I hear people mentioning it, through their teeth.

WIFI

I did see something that Storm will come with a software that would or could sink all your Itunes stuff.

I just want to have one thing that would have it all... international travel isn't a concern.

You're forgetting iphones come in 16GB as well as the new 32GB version about to come out as well. So memory wise...iphone >*

Also, iphone has multi point touch screen...without it you might as well have a stylus.

You can't zoom in/out or have as easy access to just doing simple things with an all touch screen device without it.

Until an all touch phone comes out with a multi touch device, I'm sticking with my iphone.

I just played with the G1 yesterday and my experience was less than satisfactory. It still had that windows utilitarian feel to it that drove me away from those WM6 devices

everyone should know my answer....

There's a storm brewing ahead, and you can bet your anal-beaded ass I'll be dippin' near the whispering eye (Role Models reference) of it all.

Technically it does. Plus the 3G has a removable battery that isn't soldered to the motherboard vs the 1st generation model.

They also sell higher mAH capacity batteries for the iPhone you can easily swap and gain more battery life over the stock one without adding bulk to the body.

That was the #1 thing I HATED about just about every other cell phone out there. The extended battery always stuck out the back like a sore thumb
