Best Tablet right now?

I like the Galaxy Note 10.1 because of this:

The interface looks really nice and it seems so much more intuitive then the iPad.

I'm tired of the biased reviews of the iPad. Yes, the new iPad has the "Retina Display" and things look nice-- but that's all they have IMO. I had the iPad 1, 2, and 3 and none of them changed and they're just plain to me now.

So what is next? Galaxy Note? Nexus 7? Surface?

Note is on top of my list at the moment. Nexus 7 is a close second. Haven't had any experience with Nexus 7, but only heard good things about it. What is the best all-around tablet? I just see the iPad as pretty plain even with JB.

What didn't the iPad do that the others will? What are you specifically looking for?

I just the think the iPad OS is way to bland. Maybe I just have gotten so used to all there mobile devices that they haven't changed anything but hardware. From just looking at the youtube video, the Galaxy Note already has 10 things over the iPad in terms of software. Able to view a video while viewing a webpage, you can actually write on your tablet unlike the iPad, true multitasking, and others.

Looking at the Galaxy Note and other tablets, you're able to do so much more then what the iPad can do. I'm looking for an all-around tablet that is decent at almost everything.

I've got a new iPad, Blackberry Playbook, Kindle Fire HD and an HP Touchpad.

I use the Touchpad the most. The iPad is for games. The others were gifts, I might just box them back up and regift

And if I may, why do you use the Touchpad most? Are you running android on it?

I prefer the interface (gestures especially) and the custom apps. I don't have Android, just Preware and Luna hacks. It also has the best battery life, both in terms of use and standby time. The speakers are still better than any other tablet I've tried.

I also have a touchstone charger stand. I never have to plug it in

^I use TP with CM9 overclocked to 1.7Ghz. Love it. Gesture enabled web browser is great too. Widgets and all of that for $250

I also have a Touchpad as well and love it except for the screen resolution. I am running CM9 as well on mine but have not overclocked it. It will easily let me have 8-12 tabs open while browsing and still run smoothly.

As Ken pointed out the wireless charging is very nice I actually have two of them one upstairs and one down.

I am going to pickup a Asus Infinity soon and hopefully it will run just as well but with the better screen resolution to go with it otherwise I am going to be disappointed. Main reason to go with that one is for the keyboard dock as well which I really like. I plan to no longer take my laptop with me when I travel.

Yep, the 'low resolution' 1024 x 768 of the Touchpad is basically my only complaint with it. HP shoulda/woulda/coulda continued to improve them

Nexus 10 is my top choice so far. Better than the new iPad in every way.
