I have a first gen iphone and while I do like it the screen is cracked so I need to replace it. I use all of the features especially the web browsing, but I can not stand the sound quality of calls or the fact that you can not send pics via text. I don not care to store music either. What other smart phone that has similar features would you recommend that is also touch screen.

I leaning towards the touch pro

 

Why not get a 3G and jailbreak it? Call quailty is dramatically improved so I've heard (I've never tried a 2G). If you jailbreak you can MMS. It's easy.

Don't let those things be the reason you don't get one if you like the other features of the iphone.

 

I have a 3G iPhone and have no problems whatsoever with sound quality. The sound quality is actually pretty good.

 

The Samsung Eternity looks promising. Its pretty much the AT&T version of the Samsung Instinct.

Depends on what you're needs are. If you want a full function phone with pretty good internet then get the bold. If you want a less capable phone with great internet then get the iPhone.
