Most people think that Apple is nothing without Jobs just look at what happened to them after they fired him in the 80s and what happened when they brought him back. I just think it's the evil side of him you got to take the bad with the good you can't get just the good side of Jobs unless he took a reduced role in the company. But it's his obsession for quality and high standards that makes Apple what it is.

Apple is obsessed with their image remember when Apple would delete threads in their Support forums so people wouldn't find out about the widespread problems people where having with their software so they wouldn't look bad.

 

The first thing they will need to prove is that Apple has some kind of monopoly. I don't think they do. What % of the smart phone market do they have and is there not viable competitors, RIM, Google, etc?

 

As far as Flash is concerned all Apple needs to prove is that the software in some way detracts from the quality of the device. For instance if Flash runs like crap and causes the phone to not receive mail or phone calls while some Flash thing is going on then I think they have a valid case.

No one is twisting your arm to buy an iPhone. Back in the 80s you had no choice but to get a phone from AT&T and in the 90s there wasn't much choice except to buy Windows.

that's been there at least since OS 2, Android does it too. If you hold down the other buttons you get more options for those too.

Speaking of image obsessed, Ellen degeneres made a satirical iPhone commercial and played it on her show. The next day she came on the show and apolozgied to apple for making the video and then declares her love for all things apple! I would've told apple to eat a dick and made another video. Do they realize that they become the big brother company that they were against back in 1984 in that super bowl commercial
