Is it just me or has bluetooth audio gotten worse since 11.3? I mean that in regards to switching audio/calls between my air pods or my car bluetooth. I'll say transfer phone call to my car handsfree and it transfer then a couple second later it transfers back to my phone. Audio doesn't always start right away when I get in the car, I have to hit play then pause, the play again. My air pod aren't connecting to my iPhone immediately when I put them in, I have to go into bluetooth settings occassionally and hit connect. I've been on the 11.3 public beta for a while so I've probably experienced it more times that those that just upgraded. It's still doing it on the final version, it wasn't an issue on 11.2.x or earlier.

Question. Ipads can text (imessage) other ipads and iphones and vice versa. Is there any app or something so that from my android I can send and receive messages from an ipad?? Asking because I want to communicate with my daughters that way. They are too young for phones.

Skype but test the notifications. I had issues with that in the past. Plus the added bonus of video calling. I used to use Google Hangouts too

Whatsapp requires a phone number. I didn't say FB because some people are weary of them at the moment. I wouldn't want them that young to have a Snapchat but then again p0rn is everywhere.

It is only the beginning of April, and Band 71 has rolled out across a wide area, improving data throughput and voice coverage across a wide area.
For whatever one dumb old man's opinion is worth, not covering Band 71 on either Qualcomm or Intel versions of the iPhone X is going to cause a lot of Apple loyalists to feel very tempted by the new batches of devices that are rolling out ahead of the Fall Apple rollout.
At the time, I suspected that Apple did not understand the importance of Band 71 and that it might arrive sooner than Apple was saying, and here we are.

Ohh man I love that they went with the black front vs the dumb white front on the 7/7 Plus version.

I just want to confirm what I'm looking at in here.
The iPhone 8 Product Red has a black bezel? Is that right?
I'm glad they finally did that, if that's what they've done.

Yes, black bezel on the PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus.
The PRODUCT(RED) iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus had a dumb (IMO) white bezel.

Bezels are dumb.

I've never wanted a phone case until this one

It comes in a bundle with one that looks like the OG iPhone, you can get both of them for $35 (they come in all the iMac colors too)

I’ve been super careful with the X and never dropped it but have a thin case on it just because I have in the past several times. And this X has such a high chance of shattering something if dropped.
Go Giants
Dont drop it.

The only time I've ever had a case on my phone was for the iPhone 4 because I couldn't reliably make phone calls without it due to it's shitty antenna
This is an impulse purchase because I think it looks cool, I probably won't like it when I get it because I also hate cases on my phone.

I'd interested in what the SE2 is going to be, if they ever really do it.
Supposedly they still can't decide if it's going to be 4" or 6", and whether or not it will have FaceID.

I resell all of my devices almost yearly, so a case is critically necessary.

The iPhone X is a perfect size, if you ask me. Unfortunately, that size is increased when you add even the very thin Apple leather case.

I agree that the X is the perfect size phone, I don't have phantom touch issues at all.
I went deep down this rabbit hole yesterday, it's quite illuminating:

Apple is supposed to be including an 18w USB type C charger with the upcoming iPhone models. I recently got the 29w charger w/ Apple type c to thunderbolt cable and it charges really quickly.
Mac Rumors did a comparison a while back

Regarding cases... ehh I've used a couple of phones without cases and miraculously they look damn near perfect after I were done with them, zero gouges. Meanwhile almost every other phone I've inadvertently dropped on accident more than once.
But the iPhone shape and material is just too slippery. A shape and material like a 2013 Moto X would be great, it's got a rounded, matte back with a dimple which is perfect for resting a fingertip. I think anyone rocking an iPhone caseless is crazy.
