im with you on that. I'm not sold on the ears and rounded corners. Plus the X is $1727 Canuck bucks vs $1287 for a 8 (taxes in), I'm not convinced the additional features are worth 450$. Second my 6 just got destroyed while I was caught in a rain storm in Dubrovnik so I don't have the luxury of time to wait for the X even if I was sold on it.
Damn Apple will even preapprove you for the upgrade program. I just really wish it wasn't a hard pull esp if you're already part of the upgrade program, so annoying.

You're looking at it wrong. Apple wants you to see it as being only $56.16 per month over 2 years on upgrade program or $47.87 on device payment program. That's probably less than what you pay per month for wireless service, right? It's also less than what people spend on gas in a month.

Ive always had really good experiences with Apple Stores. They are trained for customer service. The one time I had a bad experience, it was REALLY bad...like dude crossed a line bad. Bad enough that I emailed Tim Cook...less than 24 hours later I'm receiving contact from the regional manager, and then the actual store manager...It was made right and I was more than taken of for the issue.

It's a luxury expense on a device that will get replaced every year or two years at the most. Unlike buying a new phone, I have to pay my wireless bill and gas every month and that does not change drastically no matter what my habits.

The X 256gb is about 25% more expensive. 25% is the roughly the difference between a perfectly reasonable Accord and an "overpriced" TLX
