I don't use iTunes. Tried long ago. Decided to even remove it from my laptop. It makes the top ten shitiest software ever imposed on the human race, easily.

 

Yeah, I tried that but no luck. I think they just made it less aggressive on iOS 10. You used to be able to put an extra letter on a word and it'll automatically make it a contraction (i.e type "itlll" and it goes to it'll). I can't seem to do that anymore.

 

My experience is that its learning context...it used to ALWAYS correct well to we'll....now it changes its correction based on what word you type next.

Yeah, that could be it. From what I remember it never corrected my well to we'll automatically... but I never paid much attention to it before. Now that it's bothering me I notice all the time....

After you do this it goes back to how the Touch ID unlock worked in iOS 9.

does the stock camera app have the option to capture RAW photos? or do you have to use a 3rd party app? if so what app do you guys use?

So I figured out what my issue was with autocrorrect in iOS 10. Apple has changed it to when now if you type 3 letters in a row it shuts down autocorrect. In other words if you type "ageee" it won't fix to "agree." They apparently did this because people would type things like "heyyyy" and it would autocorrect.

Is there some way to choose a default app? Meaning when you click on an address on yelp, it will map out directions in Waze or Google maps instead of Apple maps.

i started using snapseed recently since it supports editing RAW files. I switch off between that and PS Express.

Anyways I was looking for a Camera app that allows full control over things like focus, shitter speed and ISO. Etc etc.

i may give a try to the "manual" app.

Proshot looks nice since it can bracket and do a "bulb" type mode. Only thing I don't like is no live histogram.

 

cant set 3rd party apps as default apps.
that said a lot of apps and websites will link or open their corresponding app when requested. Like google maps will open chrome.

I suppose it was my final drop into full-blown Apple fanboy status but earlier this year I signed up for the iPhone Upgrade Program which means I'll be eligible to trade my 6S in on a 7 in May. I have no need for 256 gigs of memory so my only choice is matte black or Jet Black. I guess I've got time to think about it.....

Whose idea was it to get rid of sorting notifications by app????

 

Omg the changes to Notification Center are pissing me off.

I can't click on some notifications to open the corresponding app. Some apps do it. Some need a 3D Touch first.



ohh and posting on Azine is annoying, when I'm typing and it reaches the end of the screen, I have to manually scroll the screen forward to see what I'm typing.

This feature is driving me FN crazy. If I tap on a voice message it briefly shows me the transcribed message then disappears. It won't let me tap on the play icon so I can at least listen to my VM either for quite a while. I can't find how to turn it off, anyone here know?

I forgot about voicemail transcription only because no one calls me but fuggin telemarketers.

shits annoying as hell. I wish there was an option to send all unknown callers to voicemail.
I don't even want to deal with the phone screen showing up. Or when my watch notifies me of a call.

anyone find the notifications on iOS10 to be intrusive as hell???? they overlap apps etc and don't respond well to being swiped away, etc. They still haven't figured this out??? lol

 

Yea they're more intrusive than before. I don't like them all too much.

I also don't like how you can't delete emails by swiping to the left.
I have to peek, which partially opens the message, scroll to the bottom and then delete.

also when I get the notification and want to goto the app that it came from. Most of the time I can't tap on the notification to goto the app.

I do like how I can see stuff without going into the app.
like instagram, it'll let me look at the post that I got a notification from, right from the notification. I can like or quick reply or goto the post.

 

The quirkiness with selecting voicemails and listening to them is a bug. It was happening to me too. It seems like it's fixed in the ios 10.1 betas, no issues now.

 

One more gripe. They are on their fricking 10th iteration of the software and I STILL have to click in the "To:" field in the new message after selecting the Mail icon????? Am I missing something, is there a way to get it set it so that I don't have to do that? I am composing a new mail message, ****what do you think**** is going to be the first thing I am going to want to do???? Lol this is not rocket science.
