I miss my 03 CL-S :(
Although it started calling me "Mom & Dad" at first, which was a little creepy. I guess you have to put yourself as a contact and then tell it who you are so it refers to you by name. For whatever reason it defaulted to my parents' contact item

She really is. Thinks she knows everything.
I was second guessing myself after I ordered white, but I'm pretty sure I made the right choice now. I usually just put a screen protector on the front and back and call it a day. Call me a nudist. The cases I do have don't fit due to the mute switch that moved down a few millimeters.

I wonder if they intentionally left Siri of the iPhone 4 to give people a reason to upgrade to the 4s. If it wasn't for Siri than the 4s is a mediocre upgrade, with a faster processor, better camera and more storage.

It wasn't slow until I put the IOS4 on it. That instantly killed the phone.

Believe me, even on the 3GS it still felt significantly faster than the 3G. If you are coming from a 3G to a 4S, you will probably be blown away. I remembered my 3G took 4 seconds to open up SMS

Yours only took 4 seconds? I just tried to open mine and it took 9! Maps took 16

I was just trying to fix my friend's earlier this evening (lost all their contacts), and I about threw it at the wall. You're going to piss yourself when you experience the difference. BUT make sure you set the 4S up as a new iPhone, don't restore it from a backup of your 3G. System files can go corrupt overtime, etc.

i went to the 32GB 4S this morning from a 16GB 4 (Verizon)
i'm not an Apple fanboy and honestly, i went for the 4S because of the dual network thing (CDMA/GSM). i must say though, not a bad phone
Even coming from the 4, i can tell there is a difference with performance and it's all nice. There's lots of little improvements and i'm still getting used to everything
And i couldn't care less about 4G networks, so i'm happy with the upgrade

Goodbye.
I think Siri will get real usage at parties and showing off for boredom as a parlor trick. It's more of a gimmick like 3D.
It works wonders but when you can't connect to the Apple servers or take too long to do it, it really disappoints
Does the white iphone get dirty easy?

Goodbye.
Another function i'm not really too keen on... Siri. i still have it turned off on my phone. Since i got smartphones, i've never ever used voice recognition functions (Android or iOS)

Plus, the white iphone with the screen off reminds me of a panda everytime.
I'm thinking if I should have just saved $100 and gone with a plain 4 since I don't care for Siri. The dual core processor and stuff only make the phone faster by like 1/1000 of a second from comparison videos I saw.

Well, if you already have the phone, no use in crying over spilled milk hehe

I like Siri for things like telling it to set an alarm for 6:30 AM or other things like that before I go to bed with the telephone in the charger without having to take it out and flip through to the alarm app.
Also since I don't have a clock in my bedroom I can just hit the button and ask what time it is without having to look at a bright screen.
