Kind of annoying that some devs don't make their apps universal.

Like chase or Amex app...

I haven't signed up for lte yet. But I keep turning cellular data off in settings and it keeps turning itself on....

That's kind of annoying.

If you whine, rant, cry about it later, I'll send you and your armada of Apple products (mint and non-mint) to orbit.

A lot of people aren't talking about the voice dictation, but the dictation is phenomenal. It's pretty accurate and I rarely have to correct it, I love this thing. Oh yeah, I just dictated this whole thing.

Question for you new Apple TV owners. Does the new Apple TV still stutter sometimes when the video on the screen pans in any direction?

I picked the camera connection kit. And tried using my gf1 and raw and it worked. Played with iPhoto a little.

Need try my d3 next.

iPhoto is VERY rudimentary right now. But it's a great start. This set up is like a good hold me over while out or traveling until I can get my stuff home into Lightroom.

Yeah I thought about it more. I think it was caused be when I would stream 1080p videos from my server to the ATV and they'd get downsampled to 720p there'd be some stuttering during fast camera pans. I've yet to see it after updating the OS but I haven't watched too much since. Think I'm gonna head to BB now and pick up the new ATV and relegate the old one to my bedroom or give it to my brother.

They both do different things. Snapseed will be fun to start out with. Laminar reminds me more of PS Elements.

Goddamn why did I wait so long to get an iPad? I love this thing. Haven't found anything that it can't do yet. at this point it can pretty much replace my laptop if I wanted.
Not a fanboy by a long shot, but coming from the hp touchpad, I didn't realize how limited I was.

It sure is. I also find the iPad much more responsive, super fast rendering of websites, intuitive and finds a solution for all the little things. Seems like they thought of everything with this thing

Without sounding like a fanboy, the Ipad is easily the best tablet (Iphone the best phone). I have tried many tablets and phones to see if Android (or others) were better, they are not. IOS just works, apps for everything, fluid and again, just works. Only mobile OS I havent tried is Windows mobile, maybe when 8 is out, Ill see, but IOS is the king of mobile OS's.

How many iPhones run with the little 4G icon? Post your best network Speed Test, and I'll do the same with my Skyrocket.

Agreed

My co-worker went to a meeting at Microsoft offices last week in Manhattan and he got to play with a bunch of Windows 8 stuff and they gave them a demo of everything it can do. He was blown away at the possibilities and thinks it will give iOS a run for the money.

After the demo, my leadership decided to order 10 Win8 Tablets when available and we will try to be the first airline to give our pilots Win8 Tablets if our testing passes. which would be good Marketing PR for Microsoft and my airline to announce.

We just finished a trial to give our pilots iPads, but it failed due to the fact that there are some apps they need that are windows only apps.

Windows 8 on a tablet is looking really good. I predict the death of android tablets when that happens. I don't see Android tablets doing anything good to gain traction in between now and then. I think Android is an inferior OS/Ecosystem that was only successful because the iPhone was only on one carrier.

I can see in 5 years time the Computer section in BB being mostly Windows Tablets, iPads and only a couple tables with traditional laptops and no more desktops on display (web only).

Android will still be around for phones since they've got a strong market now but if windows 8 on tablets takes off that could encourage an increase in share for windows phone. Not certain on that though...

Snapseed is decent. Needs a few more controls...little more ease of use. Overall I like it and I'll use it.

Laminar...right now I really dislike it. Too convoluted. lack of finesse. No real time adjustments. Overall just a pile of crap I wasted money on.

Decided to walk into my local Staples late Saturday on the chance they had it and sure enough they had a ton, in every configuration except white which they haven't received yet. First tablet and loving it so far. The screen is truly beautiful and this thing is just so smooth and snappy compared to my laptop for surfing. Loving it.

Can anyone recommend a good Windows 7 Desktop control app? Is Desktop Connect the way to go?

Seems a lot of 3rd party cases for the iPad2 are not working with the new iPad. They only placed magnets, in most cases, just two. Though the Apple's case works, they used more magnets to start with.

Seems Apple had to move the spots for the new iPad.
