Hm. Am I just being a cheapo? I don't forsee myself taking advantage of any video editing or photo editing to qualify a faster processor. It would basically be 95% Web browsing and 5% email.

From all early hands-on impressions of the new device, it seems to have set the bar yet again for the tablet market. The display itself is quite remarkable...

Please talk me out of this mania. I have an iPad Gen 1 with 64 wifi only.
To drop $700, on the 3rd gen., what do I get and let me set some of my limitations.
1) I watch on old Sammy tube (well not tubes, but oldstyle) TV, and visually can't pick up much from the large screen LCD Sammy receiving HD. I don't know if I could pass the Pepsi challenge of a retina display versus 1st gen.
2) I have not a desire to connect straight to ATT or V for data. There are too many hotspots, and my Android will pick at 4G if needed.
3) Cameras... phone already does it.
Considering my iPad, gen 1, is the only thing Apple in my house, I can't see going to the third gen.
Please tell me where I'm wrong, because I've had the Apple screen up three times tonight fixing to click on a white 64 wifi.
