Another bite of crow... Apple please

I'm not a fan, but for a MBP Retina 512 GB SSD at $2298 and no sales tax, I'll give it a whirl.

Hmm the 15" Retina with 512gb SSD is around $2700 not $2300. Not sure what model you are talking about but still over priced. That's why I got a MBP Classic 2012 model and upgraded it myself.

No refub (called) and no taxes. Also I've been running on 4GB ram forever on my Dell Studio... if 8 won't cut it, something is wrong.

refurb is still new more less and still carries the new warranty, along with the ability to buy applecare to extend it.

you should be fine with 8gb...i will need 16gb for my intentions.

I cut my teeth on Windows OS... we'll see. For something of an update on a PC, I'm looking at about $300 MORE plus taxes.
