Does anyone know if Car Play of Apple will be available on TLX 2015.

Car Play not in the 2015 TLX and by latest rumors (some 2016 documentation is out....see other links on this site), not on the 2016 TLX which should be coming in the next month or so....the new Accords got it.

 

Wonder if there will be any decent retrofit options

 

You have SiriEyes on TLX. Why would you need a limited apps on a screen? It is already outdated. Use SiriEyes and have full capability instead of very limited access.

 

I don't know, I guess so I can view my maps, music, etc. on the car's screen in front of me rather than fumbling around with my phone while driving.

 

Just get a Tech pkg with superior audio system, more safety features and voice commands.

 

Doubtful that Acura will allow current vehicles to add Carplay and Android Auto because they made a decision to go with a new head unit altogether to just support the new features. You'll see on the Accord forums that while they did say before that they would make older units backwards compatible, their new tweets all say no compatibility because they did a whole hardware change. The pinouts on the plugs are all different too.
