Charter Ultra 100

Running a Moto Surfboard 6120 and just upgraded to Charter's Ultra 100. No difference in the speed test.

Is this something that takes a few days to kick in?

The 6120 is a 3.0 modem, so it would support that speed. Doubt it's a function of devices, as much as it is overhead and frankly Charter's ability to appropriately provision that speed to you.

I'd take it. What does that run a month?

Running 7 wireless devices on two channels from the router. The slowest is getting about 66mbps down and 5 up. Since I don't have or want a landline, it's $55 a month. (No bundle). With the Ultra 100 package, it would be an extra $60 a month, and I may have gotten five more meg hardwired into the modem.

I'll jump to the 100 when they can consistently provide between 85 and 100 AND the up speed jumps to about 25.
