I see what you did there, but I think I would trust OnePlus. The 3T looks great.
Thinking about going Pixel from iOS in the fall. Not sure though
the one plus 5 is supposed to be a samsung and iphone killer!
i'm pretty much holding out for pixel 2 or pixel 3...as my nexus 6p will last until the end of 2018 and even maybe even more
iPhone SE is typically $400 but if you're on AT&T you can get it for $200 via GoPhone at Best Buy, no need to activate prepaid service. Then take it to an AT&T Store if you want to add a line.
Wow that is a pretty crazy way to work the deals that are going on.
If you wanted to take advantage, set up 4 lines with 4 128GB Pixel XL's
$36.24 x 4 phones = $114.96
$110 Verizon unlimited shared plan
$20 (Verizon Line Access fee) x 4 phones = $80
Verizon Total: $669.92 ($334.96 x 2 months service) + tax
1 month of TMobile One for 2 lines = $100/month for both lines (tax and fees included)
1 month of TMobile One for lines 3 - 4 = $70/month for both lines (tax and fees included)
TMobile SIM starter kit = $25 x 4 = $100
1 month of TMobile Premium Device Protection Plus = $15/month x 4 = $60
TMobile Total: $330
Final Total: $999.92 ÷ 4 = $249.98 per 128GB Pixel XL + tax
If you just need/want 1 Pixel XL, you can sell 3 of the Pixel's for ~ $600 each. Get back ~ $1,800. You get paid to keep your 1 Pixel.

Or sell all 4 and make ~ $1,400
LOL that reminds me of 15 years ago when Cingular had the 4 line family plan deal with 4 free Samsung small flip phones. You report loss on insurance on 4 phones and get 4 new ones and sell them on ebay.

LOL... I know ppl who do things like this with their cable companies too...maybe little less complicated in theory but the same idea... LESS IS MORE!!!

I am telling y'all the Chinese can get you into a a sick phone for alot less...
Still loving my S8 +, but my sister... believe it or not, never owned a smartphone until today, so we got her to LG G6, and I gotta admit... it's a really nice phone

That sounds crazy. Even my mom, and my friends' parents (60+) mostly have smartphones by now.
So A+ for Google Pixel support. I plugged my Pixel XL into charge today with the included Pixel charger. I immedietly got a burning smell so I unplugged it. Tried to use my battery pack and it wouldn't charge the phone so both my charger and charge port are fried. They are sending me a free refurbished replacement. I didn't have to beg or plead my case. Was on with support for less than 30min. I mean it would be nice if there was a Google store I could get it fixed or replaced at directly but I should have my replacement in 3-5 days and I have my Nexus 6P I can still use in the mean time so not too bad.
In its four years of existence, OnePlus has fashioned itself as the flagship phone killer jumping out of the midrange bushes. Every OnePlus device to date has been defined by premium specs at bargain prices, but that changes with today’s OnePlus 5. Starting at $479 with 64GB of storage, this new flagship can no longer be mistaken for a super-specced midrange handset. And even though it doesn’t cost quite as much as a mainstream mainstay like the Galaxy S8, that’s exactly the sort of phone it will be compared against. This is the priciest OnePlus device yet, and it’s falling in line with its more traditional competition: you pay more to get more.
There’s no questioning the specs of this phone: it’s powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 835 processor; comes with a combo of either 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or a laptop-rivaling 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage; and it has a total of 52 megapixels of image-taking prowess between its three cameras.
i disagree with the article. it's still mid-ranged priced. might have jumped from previous plusones, but which manufacture hasnt done this? every single phone manufacture has increased their premium
3-5days is ridiculous. If you pressed a little, I'm sure they would overnight it.
That is what it said when I first ordered it as they give you special link and have you place the order for the replacement with no options for upgraded shipping. And I agree I wasn't super happy with 3-5 days. I ended up getting the tracking last night and it says it will be here tomorrow with 2day shipping so that will be nice that I will have the replacement for the weekend.
Right now I am using my 6P and figured since it would only be for 2 days I loaded the Android O beta release on it. So we shall see how that works out.
I really like the OnePlus5 but unfortunately it won't work on Verizon so there is no chance to test it out. I also think for what you are getting in the this version the price is very fair. Those are some amazing specs.
I've been running Android O Beta for about 3 weeks now! pretty stable and the bugs that I have come across get fixed pretty quickly (just send feedback to google devs and they fix it in less than a week)
also have been running Android O Beta on Android TV. Nexus player is a champ! and same thing with bugs..send feedback and gets fixed pretty quickly

Well that is good news to hear. Depending on how these two days go I will decide if I am going to put it on my Pixel replacement when it arrives. Battery life seems to be my biggest issue so far but that may just be the worse battery life that the 6P has compared to the PXL. Also I like the old battery stats page as I think it gave more detailed information.
i dont look at that data unless my battery takes a nose dive to figure out which app is the culprit.
i get a solid day and half without reading articles. if I read news articles, it's just dependent on how long i leave the screen on for
According to the battery readout I am down to 78%, had the phone off the charger for 3hr 47min, used the screen 26min. Compared to my PXL that is really bad battery life. With that usage I would be still at around 90% right now. Only thing I can think of is that I have my LG Sport Watch connected but I had that on the PXL with no problem. I have 50% cell signal and am on wifi with 75% signal.
I've also read Android O has better battery management, as the software/OS continues to get better with each iteration.
I dont pay attention to battery life that much, as I am ALWAYS by a charger at work and then at home too.
Pretty neat, but just like my op3 it's not exactly a galaxy s8 killer. While the day to day utility and performance it's in my opinion superior, the design that samsung and others are putting forward are really amazing. The oneplus just feels like a normal android smart phone.
it is... that is why their selling point is value... big screen, top end specs at a mid level pricing.. But you know there is a reason why they are in the $4 or $500 (64GB) range instead of $800+.
This means Nokia 6 will fully work on TMobile and mostly on AT&T, but won't work on Verizon (officially) or Sprint at all.
Moto G5 cons vs Nokia 6
- 5.2" 1920 x 1080 display vs 5.5" 1920 x 1080 display. . . . but Moto display is 424 ppi vs Nokia's 403 ppi, so Moto will be slightly sharper
- plastic body vs metal body
- 2GB RAM on 32GB model vs 3GB RAM on 32GB model
- 12 MP rear camera vs 16 MP rear on Nokia 6
- 5 MP front camera vs 8 MP front on Nokia 6
- single front speaker vs dual speakers
An unknown is how well Nokia will support and offer software updates. I know that ever since Lenovo took over Moto, support has gotten worse.
I'm waiting on some 600mhz capable phones, Note 8 is suppose to be the 1st one. I just switched to Tmobile, so it should give this carrier quite an advantage with 600mhz range.
But if Note 8 will have that f@kin finger printer scanner as theiry CAD drawing is showing - it will be a shit sale for them. Horrible placement.

I personally dont care for the "high end materials"
the "high end materials" bent in my pocket.
