As far as your SwiftKey question, might be because its still in beta. I had some issues with it syncing to my FB account and I'm not sure if it ever synced. Lol.

Phil Nickinson of Android Central mentioned that their server was getting hit with 4.2.2 devices. It sounds like an update is imminent and they've removed the factory images like the link you posted:

How is everyone liking Swiftkey Flow so far? I've been having a hard time adjusting to it coming from Swype Beta. It always auto corrects to the wrong word and it doesn't give you any other options until it already inserts it... Also, how the heck are you supposed to swipe double letters??

Goodbye.
Anyone here use Google Currents?
It just got a new update today and to be honest, I never use it except the first time I powered up my phone and checked out the free stuff it came with.

So how much of a hassle is it dealing with NFC on my GN with flashing roms? Do I have to back it up and restore it every single time?

hmm might have to check out the new current update. I switched from it, cause it was in a way slower than the others.

Ohh damn the new currents app is amazing at first glance at least. Gonna be using it now may make a permanent switch. It looks amazing

To try to avoid this, before flashing a new ROM please, please, PLEASE: open Google Wallet. Open the Wallet Settings menu. Select "Reset Google Wallet" from within the app. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS SELECTING "CLEAR DATA" FROM WITHIN MANAGE APPS!
The Google Wallet reset system will disable it's background services, reset the secure element by deleting the Google Wallet applet (which is what you want!), clear the database, ping C2DM that it is now deprovisioning, clear the shared preferences, clear files and cache, and finally shut itself down. Clearing data from Manage Apps will only delete the database and shared preferences: it will not deprovision, disable background services, and most importantly will not remove the Wallet applet from the secure element.

So the first time I do it from stock there shouldn't be an issue since I don't have Google Wallet installed?

^Since you're not messing with Google Wallet, NFC should be unaffected.
If you bork your Security Element, all NFC functions will still work. Just Google Wallet won't. They're separate things. I should've made that clearer.
As far as I'm aware, flashing a ROM shouldn't mess up NFC functions so its not something you should worry about.

Ok, I was unaware of that. Thanks

I'm part of the meltdown, stuck at the cart. My N4 took about 3 minutes total to get about five minutes after they flipped the switch on release day. This must be what everybody else was experiencing.

^Lol. Yeah I got scared that I didn't get a confirmation e-mail and my order wasn't showing up under My Accounts. Thought they were just baiting for credit cards but it was $5 so I said why not. We'll see if it ships...

Sprint's EVO 4G LTE Jelly Bean update rolling out now. Mash the Check Update button. Or download manually from XDA:

Looks like the S3 Jelly Bean update is coming out tomorrow for Verizon:

Goodbye.
I don't play that much games on my phone anymore so I didn't bother with the MOGA fiasco. Plus, after going through the process for the N4 and bumpers, I'm done with joining the mad rush of online orders.........until the wireless charging orb and car dock get released, that is.

Nexus 4 bumper makes phone 6mm wider, 2 mm thicker, and 6mm taller.
The thicker part just means the phone's screen and back will no longer touch the surface, for protection. But the increase in wideness is tough to get used to after finally getting used to an already wider/bigger phone.
- makes phone less grippy, more slippery
- makes L shaped or right angled earphones almost useless to plug in
- makes the whole thing about having a curved screen on the sides for easier access to swiping in, obsolete
Other than that, this thing feels premium and worth it for protection while still showing off that sexy design.

Where you're seeing red is where Facebook half-assed its app and just tacked on functions over each other instead of coding it properly. So its not 100% using project butter which would make it even faster if they fix it. The same thing happened with Falcon Pro for Twitter and the dev cleaned up his code the next day after being used as a lesson by Romain Guy on how to optimize Android apps and his app has gotten a lot faster since its first implementation which was pretty fast already:
http://www.curious-creature.org/docs...e-study-1.html
^The article above sheds some light on how Project butter works and how devs can optimize their apps without tasking the CPU to death.

1) Go to Settings --> Apps --> Click on an installed app --> Move to External SD Card.
***Do NOT do this for apps which you use widgets for as they will stop working!
2) Uninstall apps that you don't use.
This is one of the reasons why the Nexus line doesn't have an external SD and why they moved to the MTP storage format. Overall memory is different from the app partition at least with phones with external SD Cards which is why even though you still have 5 GB of internal memory, you're only alloted 2 GB of space for apps. This is not the case for Nexus devices and phones that use the MTP storage as it allots whatever space you have for everything instead of different partitions.
