Detroit players havent been in the best of shape either, injuries or not theres no excuses. the heat are not nearly as deep as detroit, everybody knows that. not saying that that is a really bad thing cause the heat can be very dominant when both there superstars are healthy, but its better not to have all your eggs in one basket(2 in this case) and spread the distribution. look at the pistons stat sheet every game, no one single player gets over 25 or 30 pts, but all the starters and some times mc dyss are all in double digits.
may the better team win monday night

Both teams are as deep as the other. Both teams play their starters for more than 180 of the 240 minutes in each game. Both teams win when they distribute the scoring well among each of their players, and both teams have only two or three guys that come off the bench for more than 10 minutes per game.
In fact, the Miami bench is outscoring Detroit's bench 19.4 to 15.7 ppg in the series. So to say the the heat "are not nearly as deep as detroit" is a very myopic statement, and altogether false.

So who is going to watch the last game of the nba finals tonight?
Whoever wins tonight will be the champion. I don't think the spurs will be able to beat detroit or miami.

I will also add that all five starters for Miami averaged in double figures in scoring this year. Detroit has four averaging in double figures. So I'm not sure where the "all your eggs in 2 baskets" comment came from. I can only assume it's because Miami lost without Wade on Saturday, and that somehow points to Miami's weakness of depending solely on one or two players.
But the fact is that even with Wade's 25 points, they still would have lost with the disparity in assist-turnover ratio between the two teams, which was about 1:1 for Miami and 4:1 for detroit
Every game in this series has been decided by turnovers, with the exception of game two (which had some questionable officating involved with a game that was very close in score, assists, and turnovers).

If Wade plays and is 95% healthy I think the Heat will win, Shaq wants it bad.
I think wade wants it more than shaq.

Team Owner
I prefer all healthy teams that there's no excuses nor reasons for losing. Just straight bball.
As far as Wade, we do scheme our offense to mostly go through him and Shaq. Obviously they're the best talent in our team so we're going to use them the most. I think Stan Van Gundy said it best when a report asked him how they'll play without him. He told him sarcastically how they installed a new offensive scheme in just one practice and meeting.

Detroit is a good team, but I would rather see San Antonio or Miami win it all.
Last time I checked, a vast number of NBA stars much higher in ranking than Sheed and Rip took a pass on the Summer Olympics - TEH LAME!!!!
Hate on Detroit for other reasons, but the above is weak!

I can't believe Heat are just down by 5, detroit is playing excellent, too bad Wade isnt at full speed. Hamilton is hitting everything!

I hate Billups!!!! It doesn't look too good for the Heat, Wade could barely get up and Detroit is starting to score again

99: Spurs/Knicks - Everyone knew Spurs were gonna take it
00-03: Lakers/weak sauce - Lakers were unstoppable
04: Lakers/Detroit - Everyone except for the pistons thought the lakers were gonna win it
05: Spurs/Detriot - two former champs, two defensive minded teams, two great coaches... Spurs have more talent, but Detroit seemes to be able to overcome that time and time again.
Should be good!

Good game, I was jumping out of my seat in the last minutes of the game....billips sealed it with good ft shooting.
To the miami fans, don't worry, miami is capable of being a championship team, they are young, and they are still learning.
On to the spurs. I like detroits chances.
