I knew Wade would bounce back. He went nuts in the 4th. Miami's good enough to not let the same thing happen twice. Now to split in Detroit.

Is wade on crack? Did you see some of those dunks?

I still like Detroit... Wade had a big night but the game was still pretty close.

Wade is amazing. That alleyoop was unreal...he's 6'4" and he got 2 feet above the rim. I'm looking forward to his career.

Looking for all your excuses now PISTON fans.
No excuses, just facts:

Detroit won at miami game one.
Miami won at home game two.

What I get from that is detroit is capable of winning at miami and they can do it again.
Miami still has to show us they can win at detroit.

I believe Miami did win in Detroit during the regular season. But I don't think the home court is a huge advantage in either direction in this series.

Bottom line is detroit did what they needed to do to win the series, and that is win at least 1 game in Miami. Now Miami has to win at least 1 in detroit to take the series.

I meant in the current series, not regular season.

Exactly my point, detroit has the home court advantage so miami needs to win at detroit.
So even if detroit lost yesterday, detroit is in a better position than miami in this series.

True, but that's like saying you have the advantage in a tie game just because you have the ball with 8 minutes left.

I fully expect this to go 6 or 7 games, just not sure who will take it. I'm excited about it. I haven't paid this much attention to a playoff series that didn't involve the timberwolves since the kings-lakers showdown from a few years ago.

That's a taste of what Wade did for us this year. It's why he'll be on the cover of NBA Live 06.

I think I recall some guys just saying that hes "good" and another saying he chokes like kobe

But now when you see him play the way he has the whole season you guys all now say hes phenomenal.

Where's Pistonfan? He has't posted since his team lost the first game. Seriously it's awesome we split in Detroit already. It'll be gravy if we win there again but I doubt it.

Miami 2-1, what happened to Detroit's almighty defense. How about I'll tell you, WADE/SHAQ/EDDIE tore them apart. 113 points in tonights win. What happened to all the Detroit fans? How about you guys who told me I should be ready to pay my bets already after Detroit won just 1 game!

WADE is too talented only Hunter can stop him. Detroit should have closed tonights game out when Butler and Dooling were in there, but they couldn't. I loved the T on Rasheed Wallace, he is a little bitch.

Detroit was down to Indiana 2-1 young padawan. We will celebrate if we get the 4th win. But as I pointed out pages ago. Miami's D ain't shabby neither. Detroit has the rep but we gave up a lower FG%.

What the hell is a padawan

BTW I want Miami to get the 4th win to and I am not jumping to conclusions, just telling the Detroit fans to shut their mouths until they win (hypothetically)

Too young for Star Wars. It's a trainee. I've been down the playoff road several times with Miami in the 90's against the Knicks and Bulls. It wasn't pretty.

Have fun in the MIA darrinb. Where you staying?

PistonFan just got back from a little R&R. Note to self, who cares about Real Estate Bubbles - just buy property in Naples!

Question #1: Why doesn't Larry Brown put Hunter on Wade whenever he's on the court.

Question #2: Why doesn't Larry Brown put Elden on Shaq whenever he's on the court (EC should be fouling out every game this series).

Question #3: Why doesn't Larry Brown have the ball routed through Sheed in the post every other play - the mismatch is so obvious.

Question #4: Why doesn't Larry Brown put Cavs job on hold till after the season (so unprofessional) Oh well - can't say we didn't see it coming - he's been a serial job hopper for his entire career.

Winner of tonight's game, wins the series.

Pistons had an excellent first half, hamilton is playing excellent, itll be tough for the Heat to win tonight.

Although foul trouble has hurt the heat thus far.

Props to Detroit tonight, played a terrific game. Wade looked horrible due to Detroit's D, they deserved this game.

Yeah no gravy tonight. Detroit was supposed to win tonight. No way they'd lose two at home in a row. The coaching is getting their big guns out. I wouldn't say who wins tonight wins the series. Miami still has home court advantage.

I really wouldn't call 10-22 shooting for 28 pts stopping him. They stopped everyone else though. Shaq didn't get the ball. He was only 4-9. Haslem shot the same. Eddie Jones was off too going 3-10.

well, since he scored 36 and 40 in games 2 and 3, 28 points is considered stopping him.

28 pts and 45% from the field, they stopped him for about 1 quarter.

All I can say is that it's a good thing for Detroit that Shaq got in foul trouble... what did he play like 22 minutes?

Never said he is a bad player.
Detroit has to keep wade from going crazy, and they did.
If they can do that again, they will likely win again.
