NFL: 2022 Season News and Discussion Thread

I have to be grateful for the Cowboys for doing us a public service by ending the Shethlete's season. For that, Dallas will always have a special place in my heart.
Eagles vs. 9ers will be good.

That was another hard one to root for. You just can't root for them no matter what, but the 9ers always hand the Pack their ass on a silver platter.
What is with these coaches and their last ditch effort play calling? I LOVED watching Zeke get absolutely blown up on the last play blocking for Dak.
Was really hoping for the BIlls but I think Allen has a little bit of Rodgers in him during the playoffs. Choke status.

I also think people forgot they went to the final dance and it seemed like a foregone that it was Bills or Chefs...which well, galvanized Cincy to an extent. They looked good. With Mahomes on one leg, I think Bengals have a good chance to revisit another chance at the Superbowl. I'm rooting for @Scottman111 's team here.

Today on the radio I heard that Dak is calling audibles on all the plays he throws his picks...

It doesn't matter how much accountability he takes for the loss, the cowboys will never win with Dak. Ever. Spread the word.

They definitely called an overly conservative game, but Dak makes bad decisions with the ball all the time, his ball placement is a disaster, he's just a mediocre QB at best.

Hopefully they trade down to a sucker team that bids against itself?
If not, likely one of the supposed generational talents on defense? Bears also badly badly badly need an O-line. They need to seriously upgrade that rotation as one could see with Fields running for his dear life every game.

And if I were Love I'd be "trade me or him" at this point. I'd stop being nice about it. GB is squandering Love's best years riding the bench.

He could follow Adams to Vegas and reunite. So long as there is no bad blood there. But there could be. Maybe the Titans. But those are the only two teams who might be in the category of "one QB away from being super competative". The rest are rebuilds IMO.

I just think it'd be hilarious if Kaaren went to Tampa. Though, maybe just maybe the Dikes do it again and go after an aging GB QB?

Not sure if any of the Twatter posts, here, are of this but has anyone seen the complete nonsense going around, stating DH3 is dead and they used a stunt double for his public appearances as of late?

I've not seen those tweets, but I'm seeing a lot of reaction to them, as in "can these idiots be banned or something".

I know as a Seahawks fan I'm supposed to root against the 9ers, but honestly they have a good team and have earned the right to be in the NFC championship. And it's not that I wish them ill will, I just think Philly has a slight edge. Probably will be a close game, but I think Philly pulls it out. And I think Purdy is one of the feel-good stories of the season. Cincy on the other hand is a more emotional pick - KC has been there, done that, and speaking as a fan of a franchise that went forever and a day without a SB win, I know how much it would mean to their fans.

I would choose those two teams as well.
Even tho the 9ers have a good defense, Hurts will handle them just fine. 9ers haven't seen a good QB since roughly week 7 playing KC. They will have to give 110% to overcome Philly. Purdy needs to be perfect, but I feel lack of experience will be the end of them this week. He has had one hell of a run, but I don't think this will be his year. He should have a good career ahead of him if he stays healthy.
Would love to see Burrow capitalize after last years short coming.

I would not be surprised if da iggles crushed the 9ers consideringhow the 9ersjust got by the cowboys led by Dak. Plus, Purdy hasn't seen a defensive front like this, where there are 4 legit sack artists. Combine that with the hostile fans in the Link, Purdy's eyes are going to opened, rudely.

I think it's the Eagles vs. Bengals, as well.
Rooting for Cincy though, I'm just watching for entertainment now. No hate left with the despised players/teams gone. Thank goodness I have an enjoyable finish to the NFL season.

I kind of think they'll need to get rid of one. I would trade or release Jimmy G I think. Several teams might want him. I don't think Lance has been on the field long enough to really show what he's got. Purdy seems very steady and thoughtful so far. Would be a good QB competition.
