I think Tom and Aaron should retire after this season. Nothing against them personally, but their reputations and legacy now outpace their current actual ability. Neither can carry a team. Both require the kind of personnel around them that would make nearly any quarterback successful. Time to move on I think, because neither of these teams are "one offseason away" from being SB contenders.

Tampa is easy. Cheat more.

Green Bay...well, they need to suck because they are Green Bay.

Seriously, you're alright when you have the same record as the no-name Bears. How is that possible?

All my fantasy teams have been awful this year. Not joking... I think I've had a top player get injured early in the game and not come back on every one of my teams every week.

I feel the same. My downfall has been QBs. In our league they get 6 pts/TD, so they matter a lot. Here's been my QB starters:

Week 1: Prescott, scores 4 pts before breaking thumb
Week 2: Optimistically plays Justin Fields, scores 8 pts
Week 3: Tries Fields again, scores 5 pts
Week 4: Trades for Tua, scores 3 pts before being knocked out
Week 5: Desperately plays Tannehill, 13 pts (12 team league where everyone rosters 2 QBs, pickings are slim)
Week 6: Desperately plays Brissett, 11 pts

Now I have a healthy Prescott and Tua. I'm hoping for better days.....

Yikes...

My maiden season has been just all over the map. I was forecasted to win against the League's leading 5-1 squad because most of his Bills stars were on bye.

Except, yet again, Michael Thomas did not play. So, I was left with Deebo, Pickens, Cooks at WR. I was thinking Pickens would be the meh here but voila, he was the only WR to get double digits in points. Deebo and Cooks both stunk it up to only 4 points.

Then, at TE, Mark Andrews had a total stinker of a day. And at RB, where I thought I was set with my drafting, Robinson did not even play at all getting a goose-egg, NE D got lit up by the Bears -- who are supposed to have an inept offense...

Got beat 90+ to 60ish. Awful.

3-4 now. I picked up Eli Moore of the 9ers but I think I screwed myself stashing him because CMC is now in SF. My only hope is with Robinson traded to the Jets, he'll be a serviceable back.

I also picked up the Cowboys' TE as a bench-warmer if Andrews has a bye or is injured.

Not that fast. Brady still gets more time in the pocket with his pass-protection than how long this divorce took.

Interesting thing just occurred to me.

So this divorce got finalized prior to Brady's new $375M television deal became part of his marital estate (so to speak). Had he really retired and started that job, I wonder how much of that Gisele may have been entitled to.

Wonder if that had anything to do with playing one more year so that contract kicked in after the divorce.....

No she'll be fine. But I'm just wondering if some attorney told Tom "hey if you start that now, then get divorced, X% of that will go to Gisele". I mean they are both rich, but even if that number was like $30M that would give anyone pause.

Might explain the sudden change of heart about being retired....

As expected, took the L yet again. Plagued with injuries this year. Should just lose out to get the good draft pick! Game was closer than I had expected. For sure thought we were going to lose by 20+.

What's hard for me to tell is whether Rodgers is a positive or negative influence in that locker room. I think it was one of the GB receivers who got asked how his chemistry was with Rodgers, and the guy said "I don't know, I don't get the ball". Probably an honest answer, but not the kind of reply you'd expect from someone who liked his quarterback. Wondering if it isn't time to "Farve" Rodgers and let him loose to finish his career elsewhere.

I know it was Detroit, but the Fins might have the best WR tandem now.

I have also wondered what the chemistry was with the rookie receivers. I don't think he has the trust in them and he says one thing but does the opposite. I truly believe he will collect his 50mil this year and be done. To deal with crappy receivers for another year, assuming they don't draft any next year, would be annoying for anyone who is competitive.

Not much to crow about but, with unquestionably the worst roster in front of him, I think Fields is at this point, the best-looking QB from his draft class...?

So, if he gets some help, is there some glimmer of hope Chicago actually has a legit QB1 finally? The other big IF is IF Fields can survive this season without having his head taken off...

Goes to show the Packers are done for the season. Not making any waves to bring anybody in. Well looks like my Sundays are free to go hunting now!

Attending my first NFL game tonight. Work bought a bunch of tickets. Don't follow football much, but should be fun.
Texans/Eagles
Guessing lots of empty seats with WS game 5 going on at the same time.
Funny that it's HOU/PHI in Philly & HOU/PHI in Houston at the same time.

Texans are definitely not favored to win, Eagles are undefeated, but Texans are undefeated on their 'Battle Red' night, according to the local radio sports guy
