I think the 49ers are better off using a backup that knows the system. At this point in the season, taking on a new QB isn't going to pan out with only 4 more games left. And Mayfield seems way too "loose cannon" for that squad.
Man Mayfield fell from grace super quick. He's probably made the transition to career backup at this point.

Maybe not seriously, but there are all these memes going around poking fun at the idea that he and her hooked up after she split with Brady and I think he's playing into that. I think AB just wanted a viral tweet and he sure got one.

Miller underwent exploratory surgery in Texas on Tuesday and an ACL injury was found in his right knee. He initially was placed on injured reserve last Thursday before the game against the New England Patriots, and it was decided last week that he would need a knee scope with the swelling going down and multiple opinions sought out, Bills general manager Brandon Beane said Wednesday.
