I'm just going to post this since this will be the only time this season where this will be true. We rule the NFC West for the next 9 hrs.

That was a nice looking opening drive. I will be thrilled to be wrong.
Oh and Russell got boo'd on both entrances and coming out for their first drive. Guess you don't betray the family lol.

Tied Detergent now...that was a nice throw by Russ for the TD there. But yeah, super weird seeing him in another team uni...

I'm really pleasantly surprised - we don't look half bad. It was so hard to tell what we were going to get from the pre-season. We didn't get to see the full package. And Geno is playing very decent. Hope they keep it going!

I don't understand what the plan was there. Even if they had kicked in that field goal, they'd be down by 1, so then rely on an onside kick? With little to no time left?? They had a better chance of Wilson converting the 4th down with 30+ seconds left

Poor Russell Wilson, this has to be one of the worst night’s of his life. Old team fans boo him, new coach doesn’t trust him to get the win and would rather kick a 64yd fg than let him run one more play

But not converting the 4th down was a curious decision, but maybe I understand a bit.
If they go for it - and fail - that puts the loss squarely on Wilson's shoulders and maybe that's not the first impression they wanted for their new franchise QB. He was not "overwhelmingly good" in that game anyway. So maybe it was an optics thing? Having the kicker miss puts that on him instead of Wilson. That's the only thing I can guess as to why they'd do that. But it does also convey a lack of confidence - whether they meant to or not.
Good home win for the Hawks too! I was surprised that Wilson got booed like that. I was expecting maybe a mix of boos and cheers. But all the boos, and then the fans chanting "Geno" several times - man that was a bit savage. I guess he's dead to the hard-core fans, that's for sure.

Actually it was 16 - 17, so a FG would win it.

But damn, why did I think they needed a TD to win, I think at the time, I was thought the score was 13-17

The pre-game show on Amazon Prime was awful. Cringeworthy. Basically just 90 minutes of pleasuring themselves to thoughts of Mahomes and Herbert.

Pretty awesome and vindicating to see the Cheat in Tampa suck gonads when he's not surrounded by the NFL All-Pro team.

I forget the Cheat still has the NFL All-Pro team on D and they are playing the rebuilding Saints.
