I noticed he's not predicting plays as much... That was kinda cool in his first year... But my guess is he was asked to not do it so much because some people probably complained. It's like watching a movie and the person next to you keeps predicting the next scene and says it out loud.

That was the right decision. He's only 10 years younger than I am, and I can state from experience at that age things will start breaking that will not heal. No amount of experience or rings can cheat the laws of physics. Good to make this decision before it's decided for him.

Then there was one old man left, When will Rodgers hang it up? The drama has already started if he will stay or go, and if he goes where will he go. I just want to know if I should root for another team while we rebuild.

In recent years Rodgers just seems one tier below "Antonio Brown level" of unstable. I can never tell if he's trolling or an actual liability. And maybe it's the unpopular opinon but I didn't think he looked great last season. If I had to wager, he's going to go somewhere with a lot of "Russell Wilson" kind of hysterics and very likely have a similar result. No knock against what he's done or what his capabilities used to be. But from the outside looking in, I can't tell what he's about anymore.

That's really a shame - missing a year is going to allow Lance or Jimmy G to get another shot to formalize their spot as the starter. Which may relegate him to perpetual backup. Unless both of them (or whoever remains on the roster) has a bad run. But the problem the rest of the team is so good even an average QB will look good.

He was starting to be a real feel-good story.
