Indeed. And frankly, the SB was an indicator that D still wins championships. All this fawning over these QB-whisperer coaches and light-em-up games in the regular season means squat come playoffs IMO.

So, I think the Broncos will do well esp. if that entire D stays healthy and returns intact. If the coach could make the Bears as scary as they were with Mack, he's not downgrading with the personnel he's getting in Denver with Miller Time et al.

I don't think you guys are giving Flacco enough credit, at least for that postseason. He played absolutely lights out, don't think he threw a single interception during the entirely of the playoffs.

Their defense is amazing now, yes. Flacco carried the team during that run though. There's a reason why he has that awful contract.

Stolen from reddit but someone commented that Elway is trying to remain the Broncos greatest ever QB

Jake the Snake!

Even as a young ignorant fan I rooted for him because he was just fun to watch. I had no concept of divisional rivalry because the Cardinals were just so terrible you couldn't help but feel bad for them.

He had a good run in Denver, can't remember where it went wrong. Age?

Redskins possible Maryland stadium deal went poof. Good luck getting a stadium deal in DC with both DC politicians and Congress have to approve it and when they know you have no other options. Virginia pretty much has already said they are out.

Getty ImagesThe collusion grievances filed by Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid against the NFL have been resolved.

Attorney Mark Geragos and the NFL released a joint statement announcing the development on Friday afternoon. Due to a confidentiality agreement, there’s no word on the terms of a settlement that comes after several months of discussions between the league and counsel for the two players.

“For the past several months, counsel for Mr. Kaepernick and Mr. Reid have engaged in an ongoing dialogue with representatives of the NFL. As a result of those discussions, the parties have decided to resolve the pending grievances. The resolution of this matter is subject to a confidentiality agreement so there will be no further comment by any party.”

The case was moving toward final appearances in front of an arbitrator in the near future. One would imagine that there was a financial piece to the settlement to keep that from happening, but the confidentiality agreement means neither side will be revealing what it took to bring the case to an end.

I heard on the news that the new AAF league approached both Kaepernick and Tebow regarding QB position. Kaepernick wanted $20M to play for the AAF and Tebow is in the midst Spring training with the NY Mets.

This should be an interesting outcome. Not only has the team cheated, had teammates who murdered people, players who can't stay clean. Now an owner involved in human trafficking. Fits right in!

Statement from a spokesperson for Robert Kraft:

"We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further."

The one thing I believe is that you won't hear anything about this from the Kraft family, the Patriots or the Revolution.

So it would appear Brady isn't the only Patriot who has other people handling his balls.

I agree, but I think that would be the brothel's problem, not Mr. Kraft. He's just there for the (alleged) prostitution.

- Okay that makes a little more sense.

I still don't get it. He is a billionaire a few times over, he has his own jets. Vegas was too far away? Perhaps simple convenience? SMH

Holy damn, all the top news sites are running the Kraft prostitution story on their main headlines....I bet this looks VERY bad for the team/organization.

I would not be surprised if Kraft is ousted or voluntarily resigns. This is a PR nightmare.

I see what you're saying but he's still a part of the problem.

Without customers for these things, those horrible people running these operations wouldn't likely exist

Doubt Kraft voluntarily sells the team because of this. Prostitution isn't the hot topic like racist comments a la former Clippers owner Donald Sterling. And to the one why does a billionaire need a hooker. It's pretty especially when you're 70 years old.
