He'll have a better chance of being signed than Kaep after he's released from prison to an NFL roster.

I just find it hella-crazy that teams will have no problems signing criminals but a guy who dares to kneel for an anthem gets completely shafted...it's just insanity.

Mark Sanchez is a starting QB on an NFL team as of 12/4/2018.

Not much argument there. One of the big radio guys had a interesting theory.

The NFL only cares about their bottom line (shocker). Kaep kneeing did have a negative impact on their bottom line.

Players like Greg Hardy and other woman beaters are bad PR (mostly from woman groups) but don't really impact the bottom like too much

I picked up Samuels since Conner is out. Hoping he's just as good

I was going to be a smart ass and say its probably some TB12 meme but decided to not beat a dead horse. I was correct!

They are not totally wrong IMO. It's sad. But the NFL has a decent amount of women who support and follow the game. Maybe another distinction here is Kaep kneeling turned into an NFL-wide movement. These incidents of violence against women get press for a time nationally, then get relegated to the local markets for coverage I would expect. Then they go away. If there was something in the NFL's face week after week, maybe it would be different. Doubt the players will kneel for that though.

I did too, which probably grinds against all the owners of playoff teams since i'm out. But our consolation bracket is competitive because the winner gets #1 pick next year. So I'm playing. And you know, screw those guys.

Shanahan got a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct. You could clearly see him mouth "Fuck you" to the ref, then the yellow flag come up immediately after that

I respected Wilson a lot, and the incident is kinda funny when you think about it. But pretty shameful and unexpected of him

Incident in question

Belichick cussed at Thielen. Though yes, he pretty clearly said "fuck you" as well

49ers played the Seahawks last Sunday

I believe the correct quote from Belichick was "shut the fuck up," that is in reaction to Thielen saying "that's bullshit," when belicheck threw the challenge flag. Patrick Chung was on the ground injured and Thielen didn't think he was actually hurt..............

Ya that was great. Then Thielen dropped the easiest pass of his life on the next play. It was beautiful

From Schefter

"Broncos’ WR Emmanuel Sanders was running routes against air for the QBs to get throws in. Uncovered, on a short route, Sanders went down. It looked like he knew right away. He took his helmet off immediately, rolled it away from him and trainers checked his left ankle/lower leg"

Yup - Pats were able to keep him in check for the most part.

I don't know if they'll win but the Bears are playing legit football and the play calling is very entertaining (they just scored on the tackle eligible). Also Kenyan Drake and Mia on that last play - you don't see the Patriots that unprepared very often. And WTF Steelers? Oakland? I'm only really bitter because a better fantasy day was expected .

What a statement game by the Bears D.

If they can sort out Mitch...this team has a chance in to make some noise in the playoffs.

He'll be fine. The D just neutered a top offense.

That Dolphins play to win the game against the cheaters was great, why the hell Gronk was out there playing D I will never know, but I liked seeing him get juked out of his shoes

And the Steelers lost to a 2-10 team

Damn it. I could've went to that game. What a play by the Fins. University of Miami had a similar fluky play against Duke on a kickoff return a few years ago. Maybe it's the weather

As for Gronk - announcers were leaning toward the fact the Pats had their, "stop a hail mary" package on the field which you'd want Gronk out there to fight for a jump ball. The perplexing thing was Miami was way too far away for a hail mary so it didn't make sense to have that personnel group on the field. They caught the Pats in the wrong setup.

They were saying Gronk was out to knock the ball down, not chase down people. Pretty entertaining to see!

What a bullshit call on the fumble on the opening kickoff return for Dallas/Philly. What is a fumble recovery these days? Pretty sure the Eagles were all piled on the ball and came out of the scrum with it but still didn't get the ball?

Healthy win for the Packers but people saying they still have a shot for the playoffs are smoking something. Need a miracle if they do!

That feeling when you win a playoff game and you still have players tonight to pad the win.

I get that Gronk was out there for hands, but he got exposed quick when it turned to a running play

Also that feeling when you win in spite of actually benching Amari Cooper. Won't make that mistake twice.

Billy thought there was a Hail Merry toss and Gronk was there for his hands for the possible INT and etc.

But...given that Billy did NOT know it was NOT going to be a Heil Merry, well, it means the Pats were not cheatin' hard enough.

^ I'm wondering how much longer we'll have our head coach. His deal runs though 2019, but that doesn't mean something might change sooner than later.
