All assuming Miami and Phoenix make it to the Finals.
I don't know why you guys are so sure that Pheonix has a better chance than Dallas to beat the Heat.

Because Phoenix will have to rely on it's transition game due to it's size more than Dallas. And Miami's transition game isn't the greatest. We got the shit kicked out of us by Phoenix. They scored like 60 in the 1st half. Our half court D has been pretty good at stopping Detroit's 1-4 which 3 of the 4 were All Stars. Yes Dallas' 1-4 are good too but Billups, Rip, Prince, and Rasheed are an impressive bunch.

Everyone on the Suns can run and gun...and do it for an entire game. Ive seen the Heat on transition defense....and well, its almost a guaranteed fastbreak if Miami's conditioning doesnt improve...it doesnt help that Shaq is too big to keep running up and down the court...and Antoine is just too lazy....

Rasheed Wallace is the most overrated forward in the league. 13 points 6 boards a game during the regular season is nothing to get excited over.

He is not playing his usual part right now, that is the reason detroit is struggling.

The reason detroit is struggling is because their fans and the players are all whiny bitches who can't give credit to the Heat who has played good defense against them. That's why I hate Detroit so much, they always blame themselves and don't give credit where it is due.

The truth of the matter is that Detroit IS struggling offensively. Even in the last game they looked like they didn't know what to do with the ball. That is not how they played during the season.
Miami is also playing well, but they better win the next game if they want to go to the finals.

Yea baby GO HEAT
Rasheed Wallace and Hamilton are so overrated it isn't even funny. Finally the country showed that they aren't as special as the media hypes them too be.
Okay Piston fans, now make excuses how your team just didn't have good fg percentage because they just weren't "on" the whole series, instead of giving credit to the Heat's D.

Surprising to say the least, but Miami clearly played consistently throughout the series. It would be interesting to see them match up with either Dallas or Suns, though the Dallas would cause more problems. Speaking of Dallas, have you guys seen Dirk yesterday night? That guy is seriously good.

And to everyone saying Dallas will give us a harder time.... how can you all say that? Diop is going to be able to cover Shaq...um yea right. Josh Howard is not a special player, leaving Nowitzki and Terry as their go to guys. Miami will compete a lot better with Dallas then the Pheonix run and gun, our guys aren't conditioned enough to do that all game.

Plus, the Dallas have Dirk man....If you want to mention matchups, who's going to cover Dirk? And Josh Howard is more "special" than any other Heat players w/ the exception of Shaq and Wade. And to be fair, Dallas can live w/ Shaq being Shaq. The role players are more important than Shaq's dominance IMO (though Shaq's dominance is what breeds open shots for the role players), and the Dallas has plenty of players that can gaurd the Heat's spot up shooters.

It wasn't the Heat's stifling defense that won. It was:
1) Detroit not making shots
2) Detroit being too arrogant (oh, we're only __ points down at the half, we'll find a way to win)
3) Flip Saunders not having enough control of the players
4) Miami playing 'hungry'
5) Miami having the memory of losing game 7 last year AT HOME
Detroit will have to regroup. I think 'Sheed has outstayed his welcome. People who "guarantee" victory need to pack up and go.
I do think that Miami would have a tougher time running against Phoenix. Shaq running up and down the court for 30 minutes? No way -- he'd have a heart attack. Dallas can run (which they should against Miami if they advance) but Nash will pick apart Miami's "tough D" that Amoeba is referring to.

Whatever, if none of you arrogant Piston fans don't want to admit that Miami outplayed Detroit on both ends of the court then so be it. It doesn't matter because your squad isn't in the finals!
We will find a way to cover Dirk, Haslem is a fantastic physical defender, and we will find someone to come from the back side to disturb him.
