Pistons v. Miami = ugly

Miami played like crap....and took stupid shots...and yes I saw a lot of bad calls for Miami...Pistons won that one...

Next up tonight....Suns v. Mavs...both without key players......

Miami 2-1 , I really want that $20 but I know that with Detroit even a 3-1 lead isn't comfortable.

Yeah if we split in here than back to the drawing board. We need to win Game 4 to keep home court and either finish them in 5 or win 6. I really don't want a Game 7.

3-1 Heat This may be their year....Dwayne Wade is a monster, I still can't believe Billups was before Wade on the MVP ballot, Wade is a much more special player then Billups! I don't want to talk to soon but I'm looking forward to that $20 GTkrockett

Well someone had to get awarded for their monster regular season. Just like Ben Wallace for Defensive POY....except against Shaq.

Question, would Phoenix by the favorite to win it all if Stoudamire was in the line-up?

Maybe if he were in the lineup and playing like he did before knee surgery, but then again, the supporting cast wouldn't be playing nearly as well, especially Boris Diaw.

I'm actually enjoying the playoffs this year, the games aren't completely boring like watching Detroit and San Antonio play. I really hope it plays out Dallas vs Miami that would be an exciting series and good offensive basketball.

Miami in game 6. Amoeba, you should be getting some money back from losing couple 20's last year.

Can anyone from Phoenix come close to guarding Shaq? Diaw is playing center right now for them right? He is 6 8 and like 215 pounds?

That was a problem the Suns had against the Clippers with Elton Brand. However the run-n-gun will kill us. We got owned in Phoenix but then again everyone owned us in the regular season.

Dallas is the best team from the remaining four. They guarded tim duncan, so they are better fit to guard shaq than pheonix.

I dunno if you can say they are the best of the remaining four....

Dallas is the deepest team of the remaining four. The Dallas-Suns series right now is back and forth...seems, Bell might be the difference maker for the Suns. Both games they won with Bell....both games they lost cuz he was out. Who's gonna win? I dunno...im rooting for the Suns, but either team deserves to go...(I just cant stand Cuban's whining...excellent fan, but the epitome of the guy that you love to hate)

Detroit was the best team....until Cleveland seemed to expose a chink in their armor....and Miami seems to have exploited it.....ie, play a similar defense to theirs...lots of pushing, grabbing, and checking....hands up in their face...

Miami is riding high.....GP is playing well....giving them a solid pg....and Antoine hasnt shot them out of the game....still an idiot, but hes played well enough. Posey has given them key shots...Shaq hasnt fouled out.....Wade is being Wade. Zo as a serviceable back up is huge. Haslem seems to be the X factor still....

Duncan was sub-par all year long, yet somehow Dallas gets credit for guarding him and that says something about stopping Shaq?

Dallas would need to shoot the lights out to beat miami, because you know they wouldn't get any points in the paint.

analyzing implies that it's already happened, I'll readily admit that I have no fortune-telling skill.

Analysis is often used to predict the results.

I was at the arena for that... when they took out shaq, brought in posey, and just started fouling? It was perfect really.

That way they couldnt do the same to shaq... anyone they fouled in that lineup would sink a free throw shot with their eyes closed.

yea, i know what ur saying, but that really ain't basketball, its bs. You seem like a heat fan, you should know how it is, when people used to pull the hack a shaq its like play the fuckin game and quit trying to find a bitch way out of it

i guess some people could see it as smart coaching, i see it as a team losing its self respect and acting like little bitches

If the Defensive POY can't guard him, who on Dallas will guard him. Duncan was hurt all year with an ankle injury as he had a very bad year but he is not as a handful as Shaq.

I think the most they did it in one game was 2 or 3 fouls. It's not why Detroit is losing. See my keys a few pages back.

Dallas doesn't need to....they can outscore their opponents, while detroit needs to stop their opponent from scoring, which they are not doing well right now.

I think that if the Heat play physical defense they can beat Dallas. Miami is shooting very well and our big guys will be too much in the paint for Dallas. The Heat have trouble with fast break teams like Phoenix and probably won't be able to stop the transition game.

Dallas plays just like pheonix, and they also have a couple of big guys to throw on shaq, who does pheonix have? thomas? diaw?

Dallas has as good of a fast break offense as Phoenix? I don't think so!

that was an exciting game....the heat better close out the series in game 6 if they want to move on...

Ben's block on shaq was awesome, I have never seen anyone block shaq like that before.

Saying Dallas is more fit to guard him is like reason #51 out of 51 why Dallas could beat Miami. Either team will have a hard time stopping him. The fact that Dallas has big men might help but Phoenix's fast break offense is more problematic for Miami and will be the bigger issue and more likely a reason why Phoenix could/would win. All assuming Miami and Phoenix make it to the Finals.
