Late here. Yeah fuck Thibs man. Even Riley was rumored to tell him to fuck off. How do you exchange medicals and then up the ante of a trade after. Apparently this guy can't deal with players nor fellow executives. 
Got to see literally like the first half of the 1st quarter and probably like 3 impressive Warriors plays. So glad the season is back. Wish RW was playing too.

In hindsight, I think Chicago completely won out of both moves. Yikes. What a mess with the T-Wolves. What is crazy is that with what they have in Butler, KAT, and Wigs, it's enough to contend. And if Thibs' system was how I remembered it in Chicago...
Weird how this went.

Thibs is a great assistant coach, but as a head coach he does not know how to lead a team. I think once he's gone from Minnesota he'll be back on the bench in an assistant role.

The Rockets were within a game of eliminating GS. They just had alot of knucklehead plays in game 6 which costed them. But D'Antoni.....fun and exciting style of basketball (at least during the Phoenix days, not so much now), but his small rotations gets players 1-6 exhausted by the time playoffs roll around. He needs to trust his bench.

Bucks only team undefeated now? It was either going to be them or Toronto.

Some Heat fans didn't think Butler was worth the max contract. I'm not miffed that we couldn't get the deal done but I heard 2 reasons why we didn't close. First Thibs famously pulled out and convinced ownership that they could win with him. However when his value dropped even more, Miami may have wanted more because Josh Richardson's value, in their mind, went up. Wouldn't be surprised if Miami threw in a bad contract to "sweeten" the deal.
Problem is with the contracts we put up the last few years are not as tradable as they thought they'd be. Guess who has the highest payroll in the NBA.

I would just love to see Chicago becoming relevant again...sure, Zach can score and Carter looks promising but man, that's a horrid team. Is missing Dunn, Lauri, and Portis THAT bad? I guess 3 starters can do that but still...I just see no end to the rebuild nor unsure how they'll match up against the Bucks, Celtics, Raptors, and/or 6ers.
