Go Bulls. :bored:

Yumcha 09-19-2018 04:17 PM

Speaking of Bulls, seems like ex-Bull Butler wants out of Minny? What happened there?

Flipster23 09-19-2018 04:49 PM

Go anyone besides Warriors or Kings.

Tom Thibodeau is not a good coach. He's an amazing tactician but he does not treat players well.

Yumcha 09-19-2018 08:08 PM

:spit: @ if Butler goes to GS Warriors.

Flipster23 09-20-2018 12:10 AM

I’d stop watching basketball and watch golf.

I don't know why they did not gel last year...With KAT, Chief Wiggins, and Jimahay Butler, that's a pretty good trio. :dunno:

And Thibs is a decent coach, IMO.

I'm not surprised the Bulls fired Thibs. Apparently he has problems dealing with human beings.

He's an all-time great tactician, though.

Flipster23 09-20-2018 05:42 PM

Jimmy would play for Nets, Clips and one other team, knicks? Can't recall the article I was reading last night.

Not sure how he wants to win a Title by going to any of those 3 franchises...esp. the Knicks.

Miami after Butler...

asianspec 09-24-2018 01:50 PM

We are staked at the guard position and over the cap. I dunno what we could package. Waiters +future protected 1st rounder?

Is Waiters a Thibs-type player? :dunno:

I don't think he's exactly that disciplined on D...? :dunno:

Just throwing out something but really i don't think they will part out with Winslow or Richardson for Butler, when hes on a expiring contract so

Well, Butler would be a nice fit to the Heat I think...Riley has pulled a rabbit out of his hat before.

Most anticipated season since '08

I also think Philly has the potential to take a nice step forward. But, Boston's the favorite to come out of the East to be fodder for the NBA All-Star Te...er, Warriors.

Joneill44 09-24-2018 03:33 PM

In the most f'd up way, Hayward getting hurt was a blessing for Tatum and Brown. All that time they spent on the court instead of the bench forced them to mature/develop a lot faster

It will be interesting for sure, also with Kawhi in the east now, lets see how the East pans out.

The Waptors may contend but I don't see them getting past Boston or even Philly if the latter takes a step forward. I dunno, should be interesting but the ending will be anticlimactic given we all know how it will go to GS.

Considering what Da Bulls got for Butler, I would wonder what Pat is offering to Minny...

Although Waiters isn't a Thibs type of player. Pat will offer him to offset the salaries. probably Minny will ask for Winslow,Bam and 1st rounder.

Guessing that ask by Minny would be a nope from Miami. Not sure if the T-Dogs are negotiating from a position of strength...

asianspec 09-26-2018 05:15 PM

Speaking of which, ESPN just released this video.

dezymond 10-01-2018 06:55 PM

Butler drove himself out of Minny the same way he drove himself out of Chicago. There's something about that guy that is toxic in the lockerroom. The guy is a great basketball player, but his personality isn't easy to mesh with it seems. Alot of what I've read is that he's a hardnosed "old school" player but that doesn't work in today's NBA. Who knows where he goes but wherever he goes I don't think he'll be there for long.

Yumcha 10-10-2018 05:06 PM

Well...Butler's practice today was...fun.

dezymond 10-10-2018 09:51 PM

This Butler drama needs to end. With as disgruntled as he is too, his trade value is taking a nosedive as well. I know a trade with Miami fell through, wonder what the reason was.

Minny wanted the farm, from what I heard.

Not surprised. Besides Rose, that's Thibs #2 player back in the Bulls days. Jimmy brings alot to the table, but apparently brings alot of baggage too. I think him being so outspoken is hurting his trade value more than anything. They should've just taken what the Heat had to offer cause that's probably the best trade package they would've gotten. Today's practice sure didn't work in Minnesota's favor in retaining him or bringing up his trade value.

Giannis Antetetetetetetekouumpooooo and the Bucks are going to win the East this year. Boston doesn't stand a chance!

Joneill44 10-16-2018 09:48 AM

He's really good at this whole basketball thing

Yumcha 10-16-2018 10:36 AM

Milwaukee is having a sports year! First their Brewers are making noise and now the optimism with the Bucks.

And the Greek Freak is real. In most fantasy leagues, he's #1 overall pick although in mine, he fell to #2...

I think with Budenholzer coaching that team, they'll be able to do great things. They have great pieces, but they were inconsistent last year. They're a real scary team and play alot of the underdog role in the East I think. People are riding high on Boston especially with Lebron gone from the East. I wouldn't count Boston out, especially if none of their players suffer any serious injuries, because Stevens is one hell of a coach.

BreezyTL 10-16-2018 04:01 PM

Yea, its going to be a battle this year. I hope to make it to our new arena a few times to see some games. I hear it is out of this world expensive though for concessions, like $17.50 for a capt & coke...

Late here. Yeah fuck Thibs man. Even Riley was rumored to tell him to fuck off. How do you exchange medicals and then up the ante of a trade after. Apparently this guy can't deal with players nor fellow executives. :whyme:

Got to see literally like the first half of the 1st quarter and probably like 3 impressive Warriors plays. So glad the season is back. Wish RW was playing too.
