mmmmmm....
I don't see any future in Clippers. I would like them do better but they always seem to trade their best player for stupid reason. There is no team chemistry what so ever in that team.

All I gotta say is that E. Gordon is a little cry baby with no responsibility. Why? I saw a game few weeks ago against Utah went to double over time, and he called himself out from the game because of shoulder injury. He ran into a player after going for a rebound, and he just called himself out while it was tied game with 1 left to go. I don't know how much it hurt, but if it was Kobe or Jordan... they would've stayed in and try everything to win that game.
My friend and I looked at each other scratching out heading thinking, wtf?? did he just checked himself out?.
I'm not sure how many of you actually remember this game, but it was lame and stupid of Gordon.

he hurt that same shoulder the game before. he wasnt even supposed to start against utah that day. and he also got banged up previously in the 1st or 2nd quarter I forgot. btw he was out for 2 games after that game cuz of the pain in the shoulder

^^ that clear things up. I don't really follow Clippers' game, so I didn't know the status of E. Gordon being hurt or not. The reason I wrote that because he looked fine and almost looked like he was faking it, so that he didn't have to deal with taking a last shot to get all the blame. Clearly, no one on clippers team wanted to take that last shot.
He did had a crazy dunk to go to double over time.

Clips are always about being good 'next year.' I say they try to trade for Steve Nash. He'd be great with Griffin. I have no idea if it could actually be pulled off, but they'd be better suited to each other than baron and griffin.

suns needs to make some sort of trade for a good center, or nash is out of there.

well.. Nash is on the trading block and the Suns are looking for a big man and/or a young talent so I say get rid of bad contract in Baron Davis and give young athletic guy in Deandre Jordan and we'll call it a day. but then again... who would want baron's remaining two and a half year contract...

Yes, I do think sterling needs to GTFO but the clips aren't 1-10 cuz of him. We need a leader in this team. Just like back in 05 when they made the playoffs, we had veteran guys like cassell and mobley that stepped up late in games. So ur saying that nothing would change unless sterling leaves?... I don't think so. We just need to find some missing pieces and get rid of baron. I mean.. They still made to the playoffs that one year even with mike dumbleavy being a coach and sterling as an owner. At the end, it all comes to who performs on the floor. I do agree that the clips need to make some huge move to try to convince Blake and Gordon to re sign though or they r not gonna stay
Yes it is Sterlings fault you have to realize the owner and management set the tone for their franchise and Sterling is the one of if not the worst owner in pro sports.
The Clippers have had some good coaches over their history but mysteriously when they coach the Clippers their results were much worse than their previous results with other teams.

Even the few years they made the Playoffs they barely made the 8th seed by a game or 2 and they didn't get very far.

Stupid decisions- paying grade A money for B+ talent and then over relying on those players.
With the clips, all I want is a reason to root for them. I'm die-hard Lakers, but I've got a soft spot for any LA team.

Sterling IS the worst owner. but how can you blame him for the 1-10 start. I mean we have good talent on this team. This is not just one person's fault. It's coaching and the lack of experience from the players also

Also, it may seem like I'm supporting Sterling. but trust me.... being a Clippers fan for over a decade.... I've had enough of this bullcrap and want him out of this organization for good. I'm just saying it is still possible to get back on winning track even with Sterling if the clips get a better GM and make the right moves. Because clearly... the new GM (olshey) doesnt know what he's doing.... (he signed Brian Cook, Gomes, and Foye during the offseason. Possibly worse move than drafting olowokandi).

You should have no problem luring the best talent to that team. I know they sort of seem like the Lakers poor cousins but if they get it right starting from the top...that should be a good and respectable team.
Numbers wise, how do Clippers fan compare to Lakers fans down there?

Every winning team will have bandwagon fans. Clipper fans have their own bandwagon in good years. This is LA afterall, the same rules apply.
As a Lakers fan, the bandwagon is always open to anyone. The more fans, more revenue. More money, better talent. Better talent, better chances for winning. Winning means more chances at a championships. More championships, more fans......

I would say Lakers home game vs. Clippers home game ticket is about double.

I'm an L.A. native and die hard Lakers fan since the late 70's and I have given the Clippers every chance in the 24 plus years they have been in L.A. and they will disappoint 9.9 out of 10. Dom your right that whole organization needs to be cleaned out, turned over, flipped upside down, renamed and rebranded. I think when Stern was saying contraction is possible in regards to the CBA I hope he was talking about the Clippers.

The Heat need a new coach there is no way that this team should be 8-6, this time last year they were 9-5 with less talent.
Paying all that money for talent and not improving your coaching staff is like buying a thorobred racehorse and letting a fat jockey ride it in the Derby either way you got no chance.

You'll hear a Clipper fan admit they are Laker Hater more often than the other way around. They need a change in something. Players get there either too old, too jaded, and the new talent they want to rely on leaves at their first chance.

For the record, I've rooted for Spoelstra well before the whole LeBosh Wade thing. He's part filipino....we got credit where we can.

Ok now I'm worried. Not because of the record though. More because of Haslem missing a long time, Wade with a gimpy wrist, Miller not coming back anytime soon, and having to sign Ericka Dampier to fill Haslem's spot. That's our 2nd, 4th, and 5th best players with injuries. I'm not an expert on coaching and I don't think we have a Shaq type to kick out Spo like we did VG. Plus I don't think Riley will give up on Spo that fast. I mean seriously NBA coaching is a carousel and very hit and miss. Plus I really don't think Riley wants to coach long term. And it's not like Jerry Sloan is ready to take over as soon as Riley makes the call. So much for 70 (which I never believed we get) or even 60 wins at this point. We'll just have to make like last year's Celtics and get hot at the end.
