i hope portland comes back
that way we played a tired team in the 2nd round
plus i get my moneys worth watching portland instead of us sweeping the houston comets and their oversized bitch center
Truer words were never spoken my friend, this series is far from over, Rockets are on their heels now, all we have to do is finish the job. Bottom line, if the series makes it back to Portland, we will not loose again on the home court, B Roy will not allow it.

portland is garbage. Aldridge is money and Roy is on his way to the being a very good player if not great, but the rest of the team blows. Calling Yao an oversized center is stupid. You do realize that Greg Oden plays for the blazers right (nice pick by the way). He will be the biggest bust in the history of the NBA. Worse than sam bowie (oh wait, Portland made that pick too). Portland has a joke of a basketball team. This series ends tomorrow night.

Nice... Personal attacks.. Shows your lack of knowledge. I never attacked you personally.. I attacked your sorry ass city's basketball team. You chose to attack me. Stay classy..

Back to basketball. I'll give portland a 2% chance of winning game six, only because of aldridge and roy. Those two have a great game and they can beat the rockets. If the rockets hold those two in check, game over. There is nobody on portlands team (outside of roy and aldridge(who is a Texas boy)) who can hurt the rockets.

Rockets should win game 6 by 10.

I don't agree with everyone hating Miller. He is our only center that can hit a jump shot and he plays hard. Rondo should be sitting for game 6 for hacking his mouth like Dwight is right now. Besides the poor officiating, I will agree it was a great game.

But the Mavs weren't consistent all season. Now they are playing in their prime. I think we have a good shot vs Denver.

Miller is garbage he was garbage when he was with the kings for sure. I would sit there and watch him play yes he does have a jump shot for a center for chicago but he was incosistent one night he will score 20 the next night 3 pts and that was all the time. IM so glad we got rid of miller

You know what, I am the kind of person who can own up when he is wrong. It was BS of me to atack you personally and for that I am sorry.

I am just so damn sick of everyone talking shit about Portland and Oden. Yea hes not Dwight Howard, we all know this, but to call him a bust after one season is a little rediculous. Lets look at the hard numbers shall we; Yao Ming's Rookie season numbers 13.5 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game, Dwight Howard's Rookie season numbers, 12.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg, Greg Oden's Rookie season numbers, 9.1 ppg and 7.0 rpg. Keep in mind that he played about 10 miunits per game and 12 games less in his rookie season that either of the Hall of Fame type centers I have compared him to. Besides we dont really need Oden to be a super star on this team, we have two of those allready.

Tomorrows game will be an epic battle either way, Rockets just better bready to lay it all out on the line, becasue you know B Roy and LA will be playing for their lives.

totally agree with this. The mavs are peaking at the right time. A couple of us here in Lalaland are saying its gonna be Mavs/Lakers in the WCFs.

....even I said the Mavs vs. Lakers would be a tougher series than Jazz vs. Lakers, had they stayed in that 8th spot.

I gotta hand it to Carlisle, he's turned franchises around. He doesn't get enough credit IMO.

you might like this from The Sports Guy

Q: Why haven't you mentioned the Blazers or taken a shot at Greg Oden yet?

A: Because I might have an entire Blazers column in me and don't want to step on it. Stay tuned. Let's see what happens Thursday.

Q: Come on ... not one shot at Oden? What about a reader e-mail?

A: Fine, fine. Let's go with this one from Kyle in Chicago: "Oden came into Game 4 with 3:21 left in the third. At that point, I offered my roommate a bet: 'Will Oden pick up his next foul in less than or more than two minutes?' My roommate pounded the over. Huge mistake. Oden immediately began trying to commit fouls at both ends of the floor before finally picking one up at the 2:15 mark when the refs decided they'd had enough of the whole push-Yao-outside-the-3-point-line defensive strategy. Easiest money I've ever made. As a tribute to Mr. Oden, I spent the entire next day posting Facebook status updates such as, 'Watching Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Can't wait for the part where Greg Oden fouls Orlando Bloom,' and, 'Greg Oden just fouled the word 'Rocket' in the dictionary,' and, 'If Greg Oden goes to an electronics store, and he just looks around without buying anything, could he still commit a foul? Keep in mind, he's not buying anything.' A day well spent, if you ask me."

Rondos foul was as clean as it gets in the playoffs. The fact that it caught his mouth is incidental contact. Man up, you get paid millions a year to play basketball...

I agree, the officiating was terrible. Half of those fouls called on Ray Allen were bs...

first time i shall agree with a celts fan
pure bullshit
who the hell fouls out on a double foul away from the ball
you just don't call that shit in the playoffs

and don't count the blazers out still
for portland, it is a game 7 situation because if the series is shifted to portland, all the pressure is on the rockets for not being able to close out in houston and now having to close out a very good portland team in portland, which is damn near fucking impossible
so portland must be in a do or die situation
actually a do situation, because if they force a 7th game, the next tickets they will book will be to LA for game one
tomorrow will be a classic battle, and i think the outlaw heroics might actually take place
he needs to show up, as well as blake and rudy for the blazers to force a 7th game, which i say portland does

I am in NO WAY a fan of the Boston Celtics - in fact, I'm still pissed that the Bulls didn't close game 5. And I actually like Brad Miller, I think he's always been tough as hell. But I do feel like Rondo's foul was clean. He didn't seem to intentionally hurt Brad Miller.

I totally agree. Before I the playoffs started I knew that the Jazz and the Mavericks are the teams that would present the biggest challenge for the Lakers. I think the Lakers will finish the Mavs off in 6 games in Round 3...

Well looks like Mavs vs Nuggets. Defnitely won't be easy, but based on how we've been playing lately, we can win it. Great offense, even more impressive defense.

I was at Hawks/Heat game 5 last night and the crowd was not letting up on Wade. It's crazy how he just turned it on and started dropping points.

The game got physical just after that one play with Wade and Smith.

We'll see how things go tomorrow night.

Haha. I like watching them play. They have a young squad with some talent. They just have to focus this talent to win some games. I have gone to Hawks/Celtics games and seen them blow the lead late in the game.

I'll be curious to see how they will handle the Cavs IF they make it out of the 1st round.

We'll see what happens tomorrow night.
