It's hard to play small ball when 6 of 9 in the line up are going hitless in a game.

If the Phillies go down in this series (that depends on today) it will be one of the biggest failures ever for the franchise.

Agreed that it's hard when only 3/9 are getting on base. But you don't need a hit to advance runners, just have to hit it to the right place. I just think the talent on the team should be able to do some situational hitting. Ibanez and Werth look like they're just trying too damn hard.

What a bum, him and Joe Girardi are. The nerve not to win every single game.

ummm....

I'm more of the mind to "fire" certain players. Charlie has shown, however, that he gets stuck in his "loyalty to the player" mentality. He keeps trotting the same guys out there regardless of the slump they are in. Give Bochy credit...he is stirring the pot to try to get something started.

With 4 games left to play, can Charley wait for the bats to wake up? We'll see. If SF deserves to win, then they will. But it will be one of the biggest failures in franchise history. It'll make for good sports talk radio.

Hardship? Are you serious? The Yankees don't have fucking hardship, they are in the playoffs every year! Don't talk to a Met fan about hardship. I rejoice when the Yankees fail, and I rejoice even more when Yankee fans boo and talk about how much the Yankees suck.

And Not only did I cheer, I hoped he was done for the season.

Missed the entire SF/PHI game, and will probably miss the TX/NY game today

Girardi does seem a little clueless sometimes, like he has no confidence in whatever decision he has/hasn't made. Lack of experience I guess?

I hate the Yankees and many many other teams. Is that not normal sports fan behavior, to cheer for your teams and cheer against the ones you dislike?

If the Phils don't pull this game off tonight with "Joltin' Joe Blanton" on the mound...it's pretty much all over.

Brace yourself for e30cabrio to start complaining and telling you that it's your fault that you aren't a Yankee fan and you're just jealous of them. Apparently, we are all the problem, not him.

As much as I like Joe Blanton (mainly because he pitched at UK), I really don't think he has the stuff to be a big game pitcher.

Good luck to you guys, but I think your offense is slumping a little too much to recover in time

This is amusing. Do you guys not get pissed when your team doesnt advance? You're making it seem like its perfectly ok to fail. And not winning the WS in the Yankees mindset is a failure. And yes, that means that out of the past 107 years (not counting the strike of 94 nor the boycott in 1904), the Yankees have failed 80 times.

No, other then the past few seasons, I've gotten used to the Dodgers not making Postseason.

Not winning the WS IS a failure in the Yankee mindset, what kind of fan are you?

Oh please, don't make it seem like the poor Yankees barely win championships by stating they've failed 80 times, when they've won more times than any team in American sports history.

Well, at least the Yankees got their last win of the season in NY.

Go Rangers!!

No worries.

See I have two favorite teams, the Dodgers and who ever is playing the Yankees, so it really has nothing to do with who is winning or not. However, being a Dodger fan I'm obligated to hate the Giants as well.

Seeing that I'm rooting for the Rangers, I doubt they have any time to worry about their golf swing.

By the way, thanks for proving my point by bringing the Mets into this. Again proving that you just can't grasp concepts. This has nothing to do with the Mets. They suck and shouldn't even be allowed on a golf course. Enough for you? They SUCK. Can we stop talking about the Mets now?

This is about how much I hate the Yankees and how you can't understand that some people just aren't going to like the same team as you. I want them to fail and I want any team playing them to win because I can't stand arrogance of the team and especially can't stand the arrogance of their fans.
