I'm not so sure about the Mets winning the NL East.

Go Cards!! The NL Central this year will be a little closer.

And with the help of this guy in the rotation, I think they are the team to take it this year.

So maybe I'm a little partial toward the guy. It has nothing to with the fact that we were teammates in high school.

Beckett is wearing #19...

http://bostondirtdogs.com/

"...the Red Sox as we speak are preparing to make a serious offer to one Roger Clemens, who will turn 44 in August. According to sources, the Sox’ pitch will include a slick video presentation that features a number of Red Sox fans imploring the Rocket to finish his career where it began. "

Yeah, I know he got assigned #19. That's what he wore in HS. He took 61 (flipped 19) when he signed with the Fish because 19 was taken by Mike Lowell. He switched to 21 honoring Clemens, and turns out the Sox weren't going to allow anyone else to wear that # unless it's the Rocket. Good call when you think about it.

That would definitely liven things up big time if we were to bring Clemens back.

I'm waiting for the WBS to start, already ordered my Dominican Jersey I'm pretty worried about the Blue Jays this year, but the Yanks will still continue their strong hold as the East Champions. Isn't it 8 yrs in a row

I think the Mets will finally end the Braves NL East title run.

1997, 2003, 2004. The Marlins were supposed to end the Braves run of winning the NL East. Why are the Mets any different? Give them the division anyways. Win the whole thing.

It was easier to see him play when I wasn't having to wait on an interleague matchup. I should go see him play at Fenway against the Yankees in either May or August.

Don't get me wrong. I wasn't happy about him playing for the Yankees either. I'm not about to hate him though. What he did for Boston can't be overlooked.

yeah. Cubs will end up in 4th place, if they're lucky. Doesn't matter what we do, it will happen. If it turns out dramatically different, I'll admit to it if somebody points it out, and adhear to something that will make you guys laugh.

Go Cubs, because I'm stuck with them. I don't hop on bandwagons, and I don't leave my ship.

The only bad guy is Dan Duquette... He gave up on Clemens, lowballed him, and forced him to go the the Jays... where he won a couple (maybe 3 ??) more Cy Young awards... Then onto the Yankees where he got a ring (w/ Wade Boggs). Clemens is still pitching, where is Dan Duquette ??

Can blame teh Rocket for that... But I can blame Duquette...

...but while Duquette can be blamed for more than a few bad moves, he also made some great moves... like bringing us Pedro, and quite a few other "stars" on the team...

I knew that. Just don't know what flaming he's talking about? Or is he anticipating the crap he'll get.

Ok I read my latest TSN and they ranked all the moves by each team. It went as high as 5 stars to as low as rotten tomatoes. Guess who got the tomatoes.

I guess it's time to share what the experts think. Anyone want to know how their team fared. I believe the Mets got 4 or 5 stars for obvious reasons. They just didn't like the Benson trade since Julio has gotten worse since he was a closer.

The ChiSox got 5 stars also and I think so did the Yankees. If anyone cares I'll pull it tonight and get their comments.
