It took everything the Hawks had to keep pace with the Kings.

OT is anyone's game.

Kings still have the momentum, bend but don't break, down 2-0 on the road...no problem, Kings take a 4-3 lead. How do the Hawks let that happen at home?

...but again the Hawks played 110% against LA to get to the tie to force OT.

This COMPLETE game you're talking about...? With two pretty good teams, well, good luck with that...ebb and flow of the game. Good teams will take that from each other throughout a game. It's not like you're playing the Penguins with no-D or the Oilers. And vice versa for Chicago. I don't see how one team can "dominate" all 3 periods at this stage.



Look, we all in here know your Kings are likely the best team right now because their offense has come alive and their depth is impressive...something I can't say much about Chicago with Kruger barely alive, Versteeg and Bollig useless most of the time...the former with bad give-aways (cue the GTG from your squad to make it 3-3) and Bollig with bad penalties (see Game 2).

Kings are rolling 4 lines...plain and simple...Hawks can't...almost 2.5 lines and that's going to be the difference and has been the difference so far. But, Chicago also didn't quit which was nice to see from being down 4-3 and with the game's momentum all with LA. That's a huge positive.

In post 44533, you're lamenting how your Kings have not played all 3-periods. So, in my original response to you, I said, good luck with that. You have 2 good teams going at it...unlikely. They steal momentum from each other throughout a game and it often turns.

However same was said of the Kings vs Sucks and Sharks, and then boom, the Kings came out and a couple of games in each series where they played all 3 periods.

Like I said....waiting for them to do it against the Hawks.

The Habs need to put uncertainty, doubt, and fear into the Rangers. The Game 5 win instilled the uncertainty.

Game 6 in MSG will be Hell on Earth. It’s not crazy to imagine the Habs winning that game, and there’s your doubt. Then a 1-0 lead in Game 7 brings the fear.
