univision is streaming for free, i read.

really hoped SA could have pulled it off. that 90th minute shot against the post.

the french are just a mess. too much infighting, players hating each other, clueless manager, no teamplay, retarded tactics, etc. i wish only SA can advance.

I woke up at 4:30 and couldn't go back to sleep - so stoked! Difficult to have a Cup Party at our place at 7:30am with a pregnant wifey. I wonder if she'll be pissed if a crack open a few beers before breakfast?

He missed a couple of obvious calls within the first 30 minutes: should have awarded a PK and in another situation a Greek defender simply fell down and Park Ji-sung had a wide open lane to the net.

argentina should have about 5-6 goals. their attack is scary, but their defense is worrisome! if only nigeria were more composed on the final balls.

Argentina should have scored a few more but that Nigerian gk was pretty good. He probably got himself a nice contract somewhere because of that performance.

Less than an hour until USA-ENG. Go USA!

USA should have won that match. That runner by Altidore was simply amazing, and had it been six inches to the right, USA would have gotten the three points. Still though, amazing save by Green.

I guess I'll take the one point. When does USA play next?

Dammit Greece! I admit man, south korea played fucking awesome!

Greece was playing just as bad as their economy.

Usa vs England, lucky goal USA got.. Otherwise it probably would have stayed 0-1

I was at a friends place drinking brrs. When USA scored I gotta admit we all jumped up around like a bunch of little kids screaming and dancing random shit. I was so surprised but so happy.

Last person I know of that got killed for fucking up was that Colombian guy in '94. Green next?

Also Altidore... OMFG postage. Other than that one play, he was USELESS. U S E L E S S. He was fucking nonexistant for the whole game other than that one and only chance to score. I think they should start Findley with his great speed (which worked really well today) and Buddle who can shoot.

Btw WTF WIN A FUCKING HEADER. Heskey must have had a tetratuple game cus he won like at least 30 headers. JUMP BITCHES!

happy with the draw considering how poorly we played in the midfield. expect that when bradley and clark play. good defense and tracking but horrible retention and possesion.

dempsey and donovan had to spend too much time tracking back and helping on defense. therefore, altidore and findley were starved of service. findley's attribute is his speed, but other than that, he's completely useless. he didn't stretch the defense and his final ball is pisspoor.

cherundolo, demerit, and howard were huge. gooch still doesn't look right, and he he had his share of wtf moments. but towards the end, when we were bunkering, he did well.

i'm happy with the draw. now the REAL pressure is on against algeria and slovenia. these are the games we have to win.

as for england, my reservations about king's health came true. if he's out against algeria, i assume carra will start. he and terry will be the slowest CB pairing. does green start? having barry back will be huge for england.

they deserved to win today. created more opportunities and chances. howard was huge. i still think they'll be favorites to top the group. however, there are a lot of concerns.

the world cup makes me happy.

I think Cherundolo also had an excellent game... great defending as well as good runs down the side. Didn't see much of Donovan. But, the USA was giving England wayyyyy too much space with the ball to pass around. They needed to close in more and cut the passes off... they did a little better near the end of the game but still wasn't that good.

Also gotta admit the ref was inconsistent. There must have been at least 3 times where an England player fouled a USA player and should have been a yellow or red. I saw a few clear studs up challenges where they got no ball one of which was studs up in Howard's chest... nothing? Then when (I think it was Findley.. or Buddle) got the ball in the middle and almost had a run at the goal, Carragher POS fucking elbowed/armed him in the neck ... should have been a card.

^ I guess that's where experience comes in? Even thoguh Carragher is old and slow, he knows how to "cheat" without being noticed by the ref?
