Florida is already in the SEC championship game, and to be honest.. I hope Arkansas doesn't make it...

I also find it interesting that Fulmer only suspended Foster for the 1st half of the Arkansas game, while the other 2 players got 1 game and 2 game suspensions respectively.

If anyone has some time, read this article.. to sum it up a journalist for the University of Alabama newspaper writes an article over a month ago about how bad Mississippi State is and that they need to leave the SEC. Well last weekend Miss. State beat Alabama and all these people are laughing and talking shit back to him.

Yep. Sad state Alabama is in right now. Shula needs to hit the door or hire the best Offensive Cooridnator he can find. If he looses to LSU and Auburn--which he will probably do--I think His days will be numbered @ Alabama.
Their Offense is a travesty to Offenses! Their defense has kept them in the majority of the games, but their lack of offense has killed them. They should have beat Ark. They could have and should have beaten TN. They had Florida down 10 Zip at the Half. They came back against Miss State, and dominated the 2nd half with time of possession and moving the ball, but they are TOTALLY INEPT at getting the BALL IN THE ENDZONE. Darby sucks. He has not scored an offensive TD all season. Much of this has to do with their Young line. Most are Freshman.
I don't know if Shula will be around next year, but It was evident before the year started that ALABAMA was going to be weak this year; I just didn't think they would be this weak. They are setup MUCH better for next year, but the thing is, Auburn, LSU, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee re-load well each year. Alabama has not showed themselves to be good at staying steady. Ga has had an off year, but its the first in quite a few years. Alabama has been relegated to a middle of the pack to lower middle of the pack team. This does NOT sit well with the Fan base who pride themselves on National titles.
Time for a Change.

IF Florida wins out, they will play in the BCS Championship game.
1)ASSUMING they win, they will be #3 next week.
2)The loser of the Ohio State - Michigan game will fall, and UF will move into the #2 spot.

They should cancel the BC$ Bowl this year. Instead, have a home and away series between Columbus and Ann Arbor. If the series is tied at 1:1, then play a third game at the BC$ Bowl on the border...in Toledo.

Keep dreaming.. we'll see if the game is close or not.. if it isn't then the loser was obviously not as good.. if it was a close game then the loser should have won The loser will not be able to get #2 in the BCS losing the last game of the season.. the winner of USC-Notre Dame or the SEC Championship considering either team remains having one loss will get the #2 bid and play for the National Championship game.

Too bad Michigan is #3 in USA Today poll, #2 in AP (although this isn't factored into the BCS). I'm interested to see where Michigan will be in the new BCS.

well bcs was just released.. michigan is still #2.. i think that is fucking horrible if they play again only because this was technically their conference championship game.. Michigan lost.. that is their fault. And if Michigan did play again and beat Ohio State then Ohio State would cry because they would be tied 1-1 for the year. What kind of crap would that be. Anyways USC and maybe Notre Dame have a good chance to jump Michigan since USC has 2 more games and are so close behind. Florida needs to win out also and win the SEC championship game.

Thanks for the link...
So, even if they win out... Florida is screwed.
If USC beats ND, they stay ahead.... if ND beats USC, they jump Florida.

Florida needs to win out.. USC to lose at least to ND or UCLA.. If ND beats USC they won't play Ohio State though since they lost earlier this year to Michigan.

In 2004 after USC beat Oklahoma, and Auburn won, some guy offered both schools 15 million each and either the schools wouldn't allow it or the NCAA wouldn't allow the schools to play. So Auburn ended up getting screwed, but still had the same record as USC.

Whichever of these schools wins out, and only 2 max can:
USC
ND
Florida
Arkansas
and do not go to BCS titlegame, there will be major controversy.
Greedy college football needs a playoff, pure and simple. Even a 4 team playoff would solve a lot.

Not necessarily.. like I said above.
If ND and Arkansas win out.. ND would have lost to Michigan, nulling their chances. Arkansas would have a legitimate shot, except that loss against USC. Remember though if Arkansas wins out they would have gone undefeated in the SEC, which is really impressive.
If ND and Florida win out, then ND same reason as above. Florida would have played a weaker schedule toward the end, except the SEC championship game. The one thing pollsters will look at is, Michigan's loss is to Ohio State, Florida's loss is to Auburn. Enough reason there to vote Michigan > Florida. (Not IMO though)
If USC and Arkansas win out then obviously USC beat Arkansas earlier this year. Although I think the game would be much much different, it would still be close. USC would then have to jump Michigan in the BCS. This would most likely happen if USC wins out.
If USC and Florida win out then the same situation would happen to Florida about their schedule at the end of the year. They had an incredibly tough schedule mid-season, but ending with Western Carolina, a shitty FSU team (although I'm sure the game will be somewhat good) and then Arkansas (good team) probably won't provide them with enough boost to jump in the polls.
My point being if 2 teams do win out, then only one of them will have a legitimate chance of wanting to play for the BCS title game. Remember, the two teams that win out are also "competing" against Michigan for that #2 spot, and unless 2 teams from above crush their opponents (except USC probably just needs to win, but can't make it shitty games) it will most likely be Michigan in the title game.
