Quote taken out of context. It started by me simply asking these "SEC is God" members to please make their own thread. This is a college football thread, not an SEC thread.
P.S. I can take cracks at teams (S. Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia) that EVERYONE hypes until about 5 games into the season. Then it's same old same old...Alabama or Florida? hmmm a 2 strong team conference, sound familiar?
i think even last season 4 of the top 10 were SEC teams until like week 10? this is also the reason you see so many SEC teams win the national championship with 1-2 losses opposed to the perfect seasons of USC or Ohio State/Texas... we actually PLAY good teams till the end.. opposed to 3 times a year...
yea, we sure do have a 2 team conference..
alabama could go 12-0 to start the season and i wouldnt put it past them to lose to Tenessee or Georgia or even Auburn.. stuff is that tight in our conference
hell, LSU hasnt been great since 07 and we almost beat alabama last year on their perfect season...

Getting back on topic...meaning there is football outside Alabama and Florida.
Anyone think Boise State will live up to it's lofty expectations? Any other non-BCS schools be a surprise this year?

on a side note, seriously, i hope our team doesn't lose their motivation in the middle of the season. but i would partially understand if it does happen though.. it will be pretty hard to keep their motivation without any hope to play in the post season. i feel bad for the current players.

yeah thats the ultimate goal i guess. but i'm not saying everyone but some of the kids might have a dream to become the national champion or at least play in one of the bcs bowls. the fact that they can't do it due to the NCAA pwange might eat up their motivation. I'm just worried to see that.

if they arent allowed to play in the BCS championship, but are first round material.. they will get drafted to the lions or raiders undoubtedly.
and we all know they are competing forces in the NFL..

Looks like 1 down and 12 to go... And everyone typically schedules cupcakes the first week, and Southern Miss was one, but a cupcake picked to finish first in CUSA east.
But God... we have Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama in the next 5 weeks. I'm hoping for 2 of three, but pre-Chicken curse 2010 NCAA BASEBALL CHAMPIONS, one of three would be great.

I'm praying canes beat OSU and VT beats boise...and I still think my gators even though #4 are under the radar for the championship game this year, they have a lot of questions and I'm not so sure about the D, but I think the offense will be very very good. Omarius Hines and Jordan Reed are going to be two studs that are basically unknown
