I didn't care that much.. Arkansas lost the game by not having at least Felix Jones in on the last drive instead of a 3rd string RB... and their CB play was terrible.

I'll have a better comment after the #12 Gamecocks play LSU this coming Saturday.

Until then, LSU, UF, and UK scare the crap out of me.

Maybe I should have been more clear. I was laughing hysterically at Auburn losing to Mississippi State.

Props to the Gator fans. I put UF as #1 in the country, with LSU #2, USC #3, OU #4, Penn State #5, and WVU #6.

UF (in my opinion) is CLEARLY the best team in the country right now. I didn't believe you guys would keep steamrolling people (be honest, how many UF fans believed it) but you did. Damn impressive

And if they keep playing Tebow while they're up by 20 trying to run up the score, he's eventually going to get hurt

I love how when they finally put in the back up, he ran over a linebacker trying to be like Tebow, even getting all amped up after it. All the players were laughing on the sidelines.

Unfortunately for LSU and UF, they have to meet (likely twice) before the bowl season....whereas USC gets to coast through the garbage Pac10 and Notre Lame, WVU coasts thrugh the garb Big East and Oklahoma doesn't, but gets an easier conference schedule than UF/LSU do.

The most likely outcome is a 1-1 split between them with USC/OU/WVU sliding into the title game unless two of them lose and the SEC winner leapfrogs.

Ouch that really hurts me.. I don't care anymore about our team becasue of our inept coaching. I would have rather lost with our true freshman QB & RB in the game then putting our non-mobile 5th year senior QB in the last drive to throw 4 passes when we are inside the 10 yard line.

But I'll withhold my grudge from you until you play Bama...

^ I think WVU will lose a game. They haven't yet been able to run the table with their defense, and it will also depend the BCS rankings when they are released. OU has a very good chance of going undefeated the way they are playing. USC has looked sharp also.

I think that UF and LSU will be undefeated when they play in Death Valley.

UF's (seemingly) unstoppable offense against LSU's very good defense. Should make for a great team.

Fixed.

Yeah I agree. It should be a great game, probably the most anticipated match up between two SEC schools this year.

A co-worker predicted UF 60 AU 10 and he is an AU alum..

UF will beat LSU in Baton Rouge... 44-27... I honestly don't see how anyone is going to stop that offense, and the Defense is much better then I thought they would be.. they will only get better with more playing time.

Tebow ran the ball like 18 times (which is about 8-10 too many...) They need to protect him.

It's going to be a good game for sure, but I don't see us putting that many points on LSU's defense. They're on another level. I predict that we will be undefeated going into Baton Rouge, and probably coming out with a loss.

Yeah...i wasn't really saying that all three of them *would* go undefeated or that any of them specifically would go undefeated...more that they all *could*. And if LSU/UF split...the SEC winner needs to hope that two of them don't go undefeated. Otherwise they are locked out no matter how good they really are.

Yeah I know you didn't mean they would, I was just expressing my thoughts on the teams you mentioned.

I think HL is like most AU fans right now in that we realize that this is a rebuilding year (myself included). We are as young as UF is but the difference is (1) injuries (we were playing without 4 defensive starters against USF and 5 against MSU (plus someone removed our QB and OC's brain); (2) UF's talented freshmen received a LOT of playing time last year whereas ours were redshirted.

What does all that mean? Not much. Football is a strange game and anyone can beat anyone any Saturday.

I used the rolleyes smiley because of you saying "HAHAHAHAH." I didn't care about the loss because of how you laughed at it. FSU is sure the usual powerhouse this year..

I guess I am a "fair weather" fan because I am going to our game this weekend. I never expected much this season, and as of now I can't expect much more. Am I supposed to be happy about losing, no. I still will watch all the games, and hope we win, and I won't give up on my team. I guess I should just go burn everything I own that has Auburn or the AU logo on it since I don't care anymore...

And I said I didn't care about our team because of the coaching decisions. We had around 45 seconds at the end of the USF game and Tuberville just ran down the clock. We also had 1st and goal on the 9 and we kept in Cox during the MSU game. Sure he may have the better arm now, but he can't run. We ended up throwing 4 passes, all incomplete. We can't win with our the way our coaches are calling the game. I'll rephrase my previous statement and say I have given up on our coaching, not our team.

You're going to preach about bad coaching to me?? Look at Florida State the past 5 years. I know we're not going to be that good this year b/c we are rebuilding our program as well. Don't try and say you're not mad about your team losing, b/c you wouldn't be a real fan. I know every time we lose, no matter what the cause I'm pretty pissed about it. I grew up in Tallahassee so I am kind of spoiled as a FSU football fan b/c of how good we were in the 90s. I even went to a few games in our '93 Championship season and saw Ward play.

Like I said I am not happy about us losing. Of course I do get pissed if we lose, but there is nothing I can do about it but It sucks because we have better talent on the field than it actually shows. We shouldn't be losing to USF & MSU like that.
