How would that not change the pace of the game? Play isnt supposed to stop unless there is a foul or the ball is out. Buzz the center ref after the review? What if a goal is scored? That is a horrible idea.

I do like the idea of finding out who dives a lot and then giving them verbal warnings and increasing the penalty if they keep up that behavior.

I'm sure its probably hard to keep a dialogue for the entire game. I sometimes think maybe I am being a little harsh on the announcers, but shit, its their job to talk and make this interesting, not to repeat useless crap like his age.

My favorite quote from one of the brazil games..."brazil was a little sluggish their first game, a sign of a truly great team."

I wish more games were on while I'm here at work. At least I don't have to listen to these terrible announcers.

I wish I spoke fluent Spanish - I'd watch all the games on the Spanish channels. These announcers always suck.

I was actually just thinking that it might be worth learning spanish over the next 4 years. Univision's halftime shows are always better anyway. :boobies:

I hope so. That was a bitter defeat for Italy with France scoring the tie in injury time and winning in overtime

Anyways, I'm glad France won today. Ya its france, but fuck it I'd rather watch Zidane play than Figo or Ronaldo. I hate the way portugal plays. Every team dives, but portugal dives THE MOST

Well from the last 20 minutes that I saw I must say it was pretty intense..

Portugal had plenty of chances..

They almost saved that PK too..

Can't ask for a better matchup in the Finals..

Sunday will be a hell of a game.

There is a reason as to why he is one of the games greatest young stars. He creates so many opportunities for his teammates and for himself to get shots off. If you ever watch the EPL and Man U. you'll quickly realize what great talent he has. And lets not forget he is just 21. I think the diving is something he'll definitely grow out of.
