I really hate when they put those stupid boxes over the match. You would have thought enough people would complain and they would figure something else out

When they put up the stats or how Germany made it to the world cup. It isnt for too long but they take up the bottom part of the screen.

Same with their 'man of the match' polls

You are also lucky you get the BBC feed, if I remember correct. The announcers have improved since the start of the cup, but I'm getting annoyed with them.

Ok, that phrase "...in the back of the net" by the commentators has been used way too many times. Every game I watched this year, that term has been used multiple times during a game. It's getting kind of old now.

ya, the bbc guys are great. The USA coverage, from the limited amount i've seen, seems to be pretty decent though. They do a better job that they do with hockey thats for sure.

Tell it to me straight. Who is going to win this game?

And where's JB. This thread just isn't the same without him.

lol. Both these teams are capable of winning, but Italy SHOULD be winning at this point.

We'll see what the second half brings, its just kicking off.

Italy has controlled more of the game than Germany, taken more shots, and seems to have a lot of confidence. Germany, however, seems to have a fairly strong offense, pretty good about putting pressure on, controlling their passes, etc. Hopefully Italy's defense can hold up for another 45 and the offense makes something happen
