They just said on PTI that the NFL admitted Polamalu did intercept the ball and it was mistakenly called an incomplete pass.

they really need to use instant replay more often, to fix calls the refs blow, this weekend was horrible.

Wonder if this officiating will cause some off-season changes.

Ya, they really blew it on the polamalu thing. Were the Steelers out of timeouts to challenge?

it was initially ruled and interception, indy protested and won the reversal (making it incomplete), not the other way around.

Thats whats so nuts about it. It was ruled correctly but under close inspection from a challenge, it was rulled incorrect. WTF

I think the answer is what the NHL does..

Every gamenight the NHL, I guess, would be Head Officials in Toronto.. When they review a goal or play they get in touch with Toronto and make a executive decision.

It's not like NFL reviews are quick. Why can't the league be available for reviews on what a max 3 days a week..

Ya the NHL has a pretty good system in place for review of goals etc. Its not perfect, but it seems to work well. I didnt know about getting in touch with the head officials though.

Yea they take a few extra minutes but it's well worth it to not hear the next day "The Officials made a mistake on a review last night"

Sorry noticed you were from LA most people root for the team in their town. And so far as the uniform is concerned. I thought only women worried about colors & whatnot on uniforms, My Mistake?

what is it about Seattle that makes them hate LA so much? I myself cant stand LA, I'll say that. But is there a Northwest vs. Southwest rivalry thing? Just a curious Midwest native askin'..

I was agreeing with you

The reason I used the smilie is because everyone I know that watched the games said the officiating was fine, so I was in the minority in saying it wasn't fine. And I figured there would be some people on here that thought the same. (all though I was wrong)

BTW, in my rant of the Bears' loss, I forgot to mention how awesome the IND/PIT game was...I think it was one of the best games I've ever seen.

Back and forth...!

And for some, it may have been just too much back and forth...

The stress level and intensity when rooting was intense.. It was absolutley insane.. I couldn't take it.. I've never screamed at the TV so much..

I would've loved to watch it not as a strong supporter of the Steelers..

I could imagine...!

And I could've imagined if Big Ben did not make that desperation tackle that prevented a possible TD...Wow.

And THEN, I could've imagined what would've happened to the ref for his idiot call on Polamalu's interception...

that game was an instant classic.

i am very grateful for it, because ESPN has been giving 95% of its playoff coverage to that one game. That means I don't have to see what we Bears fans saw on Sunday.

I probably would have cried and been grumpy all week haha (well maybe not cry like I did when I was 11 and they lost to the Chargers in the AFC championship in '94 i think, but I would have been upset to get so close and still blow it).

Then I would have been pissed too since the refs played a huge part.

No hatred here. The Dude was just trashing my hawks because he did not like our uniforms. Real good reason huh! Sounds like something my wife might say!
