Can't see Tyson surviving in a sport where a good punch isn't enough. Most fighters are ALOT more versatile than the early days of UFC. You see guys constantly mixing up their training Tyson is 10 years too late for this move. Even then, boxers still have the disadvantage in UFC because they are USED TO the rules whereas if your MMA background it's easier to adjust to sport where you have always been allowed to kick/punch combo.

Can Tyson really the throw like 10-20 years ago??? He must be so dang slow and I doubt he's in shape. Holyfield is probably in better shape. I'd like to see Tyson take a Crocop kick to the ribs.

Tyson might win a few of the fights against others in Pride, he has a strong punch, and im sure against some of the fighters, that will come in handy to knocking them out, but if he fights any of the big names, crocop, noguiera, silva, fedor (that would be a great fight), he stands no chance, i dont think his ground game can be anywhere near the better guys at this point.

That's the thing about pride and a lot of their heavyweights, they LOVE to sit there and trade, and I think they'd love the opportunity to trade w/ Tyson.

Hughes is gonna win....he gets up for a fight like this. I don't see Hughes losing the belt for a long time. Hughes by submission in the 2nd round.
I want Sobral to win, but I think that Liddell is gonna KO him or ref stoppage in the end of the 1st round.

But if they were to duke it out, I think Iceman will come out on top.

SUPPOSEDLY....
Pride has the "Read Deal" ppw in october and they wanted Tim Sylvia to fight Fedor in exchange for Wand fighting Chuck....Sylvia backed out, so Pride pulled Silva! Pride owes the UFC for send Chuck to Pride a bunch of times!

St. Pierre got his ass kicked in the first round...the 2nd round was pretty even...then the only thing St. Pierre did in the 3rd round was score a takedown, but Penn was working a submission right after being taken down.
Penn beats Hughes....then we have Penn vs. St. Pierre for the title!
