Are there any members here, who currently own the 1st batch Quad Exhaust? If so, please tell me your opinion on the exhaust! Thanks a bunch.

The tips are a little bit smaller than the stock Type-S tips because the ATLP tips aren't slanted like the stock tips. The stock tips are a little bit wider, due to the slanted tips.

Regarding loudness, if you don't want it too loud, you are looking in the wrong place. NO catback exhaust is quiet for the TL that I know of. Even axleback exhausts are loud. If you want "muffler" only, get a borla or magnaflow.

This exhaust, along with all other catbacks, are LOUD. They are all straight pipes. If you want performance gains, you have to deal with the noise. There really is no other option in terms of breathability for our cars i.e. intake, J-Pipe, exhaust.

Exhaust are great, I love them. Easy install, great noise, better lower rpm acceleration, list goes on. I also worried about the "rice" factory or too loud etc. However, after asking 42 people, 40 said "NO WAY" to the rice factor. Loudness is due to the straight pipe like princelybug mentioned.

It's still much better imo than the HKS and Greddy Exhaust. It's loud, but easily controlled to be able to sound stock (easy on the pedal). The tips with the new quad staggered etched emblems give the exhaust an aggressive look while still looking stock. Another big factor imo is the stock appearance, and this has that.

If you asked me to recommend this product, it's a simple "YES" I give it from a scale 1-10, 10.

Tried reading through the thread, but couldn't find my answer. Does anyone know how the sound of these compare to that on the g35/g37?

It can't be compared. The closest you can get to a g35 is the the stage 2 exhaust with the dynamax resonator. These have their own tone so I can't compare it to a g35, but its definitly worth it. You guys should get your order in asap or you wont be able to get them!!

I say stage 3 w/ a Dynomax is closest. I used to have that setup.
