Try this website, http://www.floridavacationauction.com I used it a couple years back, it basically gives you options for just about every area of Florida. You basically bid on the selection. I paid $100 for 4 days/3 nights at the Crowne Plaza in Jacksonville. It also has a ton of other things you can bid on as well.

Well sounds like you are pretty set on going to Orlando which would be really fun if you have never been.. the house of mouse( Disney ) is a fun area.. The parks, and night life( downtown disney and universal walk) are both really good areas..

There are nice beaches all around Florida, anywhere from Key west, Key biscane bay, Boca Raton, Daytona, and my personal favorite st augustine.... Even the west coast is nice of florida long boat key, sanibel and captiva, and naples...

Do some research, if you have never been to florida then you prob wont be to dissappointed where ever you end up picking..

Just bring some shades and sun tan lotion

Come to south florida...I live in Boca Raton and frequent West Palm/Ft laudy/Miami....You will not be dissappointed with a hotel on ft lauderdale beach.
It is beautiful. Beach days and party your ass off at night.

I used to live in south florida and its awesome, i recommend making your way down there. If you can't though, definitely do the outlet mall in orlando. You guys will love it. Just stay on I4 if you want to do beaches. Daytona beach is really pretty and you can drive on it.

You'll have a great time in Key West. Beautiful area. Best to go before or after Hurricane season.

Yea, and usually not much at the beginning. It's toward the end we tend to get the most activity. Enjoy your vacation. Have some Keylime pie for me (great stuff). Also, be careful of the Key Deer when driving. Very endangered and hang around the road sides. They are a very small deer. We saw four next to the road last time we were down there.

Tampa / St. Petersburg / Clearwater has a lot to offer. I am the General Manager of the Marriott on the beach in Treasure Island. If you decide to make your way out here be sure to get in touch with me. Brand new hotel right on the beach...you would love it!

Keys are amazing!! Brother lives down there and is in the Coast Guard.. Amazing drive down from miami, make sure you go during the week.. weekends traffic is bad since its only mostly 1 lane each way and a lot of people from miami vacation in the upper keys

duval street is amazing if you are plus 21+ plus the relaxing life style there..

100% agree.
The drive is absolutely amazing. Make sure you do it in the day time, and a quick tip....Take Card Sound Bridge at least one way, into the keys or out.
