Haha, Been doing a whole lot of nothing. Waiting for some time off from work for the holidays. So it was nice out and took the ride out on a highway run that I do from time to time for fun, and my coilovers wasn't noisy as much. Still gonna get that checked out though. Got a nice bonus from work, and really itching to buy some shit for the ride.

I usually start posting pics and updates but then we end up talking about nonsense. The next thing I know posts are deleted and the thread gets closed. So.....

Any good tuning shops in the area? I'm moving to Charlotte in less than a month. Specifically it would be nice to find a place that has experience with Acura and even better the CL. I'm tuning with the E-Manage Blue my set up is nothing crazy I just want the car to run consistent and the stock ecu is all over the place.

Bee it's not that hard. Post pictures from when you got the car and then move forward showing what you've done over time.
Total2f. You may want to PM Eric, ACCURATEin, about any shops like that. His 3G TL is supercharged and his brother has a full Spoon S2000, so I'm sure one of them is bound to know someone over there who can mess with your ECU.

I keep flip flopping on what I want . I keep making arguments against everything . I need three cars (well, two cars and a truck/suv), although I hardly ever drive just one. Of course, I could get over this if the timing was right...it's just that I have another goal at the moment that's taking all of my free cash. Waiting three years is hard. I've done it before, though. Still sucks.

Two cars and a truck? I can see ONE car and a truck, but why two?
And what cars are you considering?

Because the cars I want are too dissimilar; an American V8 and a sports car. So you figure a Mustang and a Miata/Cayman, plus a truck for utility since none of those offer any utility (at least the TL has some). However, as much as I love the Cayman, that German reliability scares me. Not sure how much DIY can be done on a Cayman, either.

Tyler is right. I haven't been on here for awhile because I don't want to spend money. But I have tires to buy in Feb or march. And I'm almost at 93k on my car now. So I've been thinking about my 105k service. I am pretty much decided that I am going to buy the parts and do it myself. I refuse to pay that much for labor.

Good luck Lance! I would most likely screw something up so I'll be taking it somewhere but NOT to shitty fuck Leith Acura. I hate those guys over there.
I'll be hitting 91k tomorrow.

If you need tires, be sure to let me know. I'm working for the Keith Hawthorne Automotive Group and our South Blvd Ford/Lincoln location has a Quick Lane. Quick Lane sells tires and they guarantee to meet or beat any price. Plus it comes with free lifetime rotation. So let me know when you're ready and I'll tell you who to go see

It's amazing how quickly the miles stack up. I figure if I take a whole weekend, while taking my time I can get it done. I have the manual in pdf form so I'll have all the torque specs and steps to follow. I've torn down and rebuilt an engine before and dealt with the timing belt on that car so I know what to expect.

Great Falls annual meet is soon. Wish I can go, but my coilovers is still acting up. Everything is tight up top, and bottom. Gonna take it all the way out and re-install the shit. Tired of messing with this.
