CLtotheTL32 Do you have a supercharger on yours? They don't make one for the TL Type S, plus I don't have to $ right now to do a supercharger. I will just do other mods. Add me as a bud I can't cause I am new to this site.

alexSU you are probably pushing more whp than me now since you have mods mine is bone stock type s. One thing I have noticed is that the clutch seems to take a second or two too long to catch and shift to the next gear especially from a dead stop and then take off. I did a nice run on a 2009 Mustang GT @ 140 mph then he slowed down and didn't want anymore. I was half a car length on him. That was my first run in my TL.

Yeah sorry I wont be able to make the meet in raleigh I am in the reserves so I got military duty that weekend. Sucks! We should do a meet up in Charlotte sometime and invite anyone to come.

Very nice run I just want to see how much my mods helped me. There is a mod for the clutch delay, you basically remove the checkvalve in the slave cylinder.

I got a few questions for everyone and would appreciate any good advice and comments.
I would like to convert my fog lights to HID fogs. Anyone know of a good kit that would match my current stock HID's on my 2007 Acura TL Type S ?
Also anyone have a carbon fiber hood and has painted it their original car paint color? If so where did you get your carbon fiber hood and how is it holding up?
I would like to do some basic engine modifications but not sure as to what exactly do. I don't want a supercharger due to the cost but I am willing to spend $2k - $3k. If you have any ideas and can give me reliable name brands and an estimate of what it might cost me that would be great.

Anyone have a carbon fiber hood? If so what are good brands? I saw VIS online for $810 including shipping. I want to have the hood repainted the original bronze color the OEM hood is. I think I will start with weight reduction first then move to the exhaust and so on. Thanks for any info.
