I need to do some height adjustment on my car, but need to find a pure 100% flat surface. I am pleased to announce I cant go to a single location with speed bumps, not even little ones.
Car is running smoothly, drives straight, fuel economy is decent and she is the most reliable car I have ever had.
But as of yesterday seeing an Ultra White ISF on 77 and a Starfire Pearl Silver one at Foreign Cars Italia... I am getting the Lexus Itch again.
Eric Congrats on the Jeep. I am amazed you didn't paint the wheels Highlighter Yellow.
On a personal note, Since October, I have Lost 36 Lbs and feel tons better. A proper meal plan and a great workout routine have been transforming my life. I feel alot better and things are going great!
If anyone is interested for the 1,749,840 Time, would anyone like to grab a bite to eat or do some kind of shenanigans next weekend? Saturday Afternoon/ Night.
Oh, anybody going to Carolina Rebellion this year? The lineup is unbelievable, especially on Sunday.
Link? I might be interested since the last two concerts I was planning on going to I could cause one I had no one to go with and the other just got cancelled.
Tyler, definitely do the house over the honeymoon. A trip is like rent, you have nothing to show for the money afterwards. Get the house, save up, and take a nice trip next year. Good luck with the search. I have always hated house hunting; it takes so much time. And half of the time, the pictures don't tell the whole truth. It was better the second time around, but still not something I particularly want to do again.
We looked at our first property yesterday! We liked it but didn't love it. The size was fine but the layout was a bit odd and the house was way too close to our neighbors. We want some space.
It seems like every property we are interested in looking at, it's under contract the next day. Blah.

Damn dude that's fantastic! Congrats! I've been going to the gym a few times a week but it's not enough. I don't eat horribly, but not great either.
With my new position at Lexus, anything on Saturdays are ruled out, unless it's super late. We close at 5 yet people come in at 4:50 to test drive and then negotiate and yadda yadda. I'm the last person they deal with before they leave so I HAVE to stay until everyone is gone. I've had some 11:00 nights

I remember those long nights. Pay Check was nice too.
I tend to focus more on what goes into my body, food wise, than physical activity.
Nutrition is the most important aspect.
If you all have friends on Facebook, who drive Acura's but may not know about the group, add them. Just so we can get a nice group together. I can see some great connections being made already within 24 hours!
lol yeah I've been browsing youtube and ebay and other websites looking at all the products that are offered for the jeep and there is a lot to choose from. There are quite a few colors on the jeeps that interest me but the natural instinct was to go with the white haha.
spotted this at the gym and thought you might like Eric. he was parked in front of bushes so couldnt get any strait on pics and it was getting damn cold out. Ive never seen the lower mounted side lights like that, pretty cool.

LOL impatient much? We already have tickets, so we'll be there both days. And I hear you on missing shows...I often don't have anyone to go with...clearly a byproduct of some of the bands I like.

And you've lived in NC how long? It's the biggest concert in the Carolinas for the last four years.
Jeep looks great, Eric! Stormtrooper is working well for it. What are the plans? Lift kit and 33's?

Congrats!
Unfortunately, today/tonight is out for me, but otherwise, I'd be down. I don't foresee a relatively warm weekend anytime soon, so with no ability to get my suspension in, I have free time.
We want more space than our apartment offers and we want to start building equity as well. Plus having 3/4 acre and a oversized 2 car garage is a bonus
All of the paperwork is done, we just need to have the home appraised and inspected. Closing date isn't until March 26 so we have plenty of time to save money and get rid of shit
It's a great starter home for us. Nothing massive that'll cost a fortune to maintain and heat/cool. Plus it's a lot less than what we qualified for; we didn't want to be house poor.

It is fairly easy to get qualified? We keep saying we are going to get a house but laziness prevails everytime. Maybe at some point this spring or summer we will head to the bank and talk to the home loan specialists. Our rental renewal isn't until October so we have some time. I've heard the credit union is a good place to try.
It's insanely easy to get qualified. We went through SECU and got a fantastic program. I didn't even go; Mitzi took some of my paystubs and the broker called me verifying my information and asking for permission to run a credit check. You also need to provide any monthly debts like car payments and such.
Yeah people have been telling us things about the SECU. Well if it's that easy maybe we will go visit them soon. I guess it would be exciting to move into a house and call it your own.
However, Mitzi and I submitted an offer on a house
Congrats!!

Eric, it's not too bad, but a credit union will definitely be much easier than a traditional bank. We used Charlotte Metro Credit Union (CMCU) and they were awesome! We have since refinanced but the process was sooooo easy. So yeah, much better than dealing with a "traditional" big bank.

Yeah Dorthy's brother works at Wells Fargo and he told us to just go to the credit union. And now you're saying the same thing. I think it's pretty clear what needs to happen haha.

Do it.

Thank you sir! We've got everything how we want it now, I'm just hoping for good news when it comes to the inspection.
Finally got a new battery for the TSX. Had not driven it since before Thanksgiving. I have been having to use a jumper pack to start it for the last 6 months so I knew it was going bad. Tried to drive it one day last week and started it and just while letting it sit for 3min to warm up it shut off so I figured it was not worth trying to drive it right now. She runs great and will be on a trickle charger from now on as well so no more dead batteries.
Tyler congrats and good luck with everything! Stephen, ill see if i cant swing by for a bit tomorrow night.
Who all is going to C&C tomorrow. finally made some progress today on the car and washed it but still have a long ways before any big spring shows. I havent been since october, so despite the cooler weather im looking forward to getting out to an event.
