I considered going to C&C but I like sleep more than standing in a cold parking lot.

That's because life hates me. Been sick for two weeks, and just starting to get over it. Laying low this weekend to hopefully get 100%. So life throws up 60s in February . On top of that, it will be warm for February all week, except Friday and Saturday...which I'll be off...can't win sometimes . I'll get this suspension in one day...

I will once the inspection comes back clean. I don't want to jump the gun even though we are legally under contract. It's nothing compared to what you and Jason have so don't expect to drool or anything

Don't sweat the inspection...and ask to have everything fixed. They'll probably counter, unless it's all minor, but it can't hurt to ask.

Pffft Mr. 3/4 of an acre and oversized garage (a term I still don't agree with).

The garage is big! More than enough room for two cars, shelves on each side, and a massive work bench infront of one vehicle with 3 levels of shelving. It's all built into the wall and even with the car in the garage, the shelving is 3-4 feet away from the front of the car.

We know people with a "two car garage" and you can barely open the doors once both cars are inside. Now THAT is some bullshit.

As of right now we are most concerned with the hot water heater. The HVAC system was replaced in 2011, new roof in 2007, and new dishwasher just last month. All we'll need is a refrigerator and a lawn mower. I really want a riding mower bcuz fat, lazy penguin.

I have no life.

Work, gym, laundry, nutrition, repeat.

My little event was small. Worth it, but small.

Next event should yield a bigger result hopefully.

Glad to see Ben's CL back in action!

That's just a two car garage to me . In fact, that's how a garage is supposed to be. Not sure when that changed, but just because most people now have a 20x19 space they call a two-car garage doesn't mean that it is. What you describe is a two-car garage, and what most people have is a joke. They need to quit coming up with new names for things to explain away their not doing something correctly (in this case, buying a house with a proper garage).

Nice. Buy a cheap fridge; it will last you long enough. Depending on how the spot for it is, you can get scratch and dent models. Definitely buy a riding mower. That's way too big for a walk behind, even if self-propelled. My old lot was 0.37 of an acre and mostly grass. I had a self-propelled, and it sucked. On the fastest speed, it took just over an hour. Unless you have a significant portion that's natural, get a riding mower.

Cars and coffee was the most packed I have ever seen it. We almost didn't have anywhere to park when we showed up around 9. It was good seeing you Bryan and Ben.

The food at macs speed shop for lunch was amazing and came out really fast.

After looking at some jeeps that had the same headlights I was thinking about getting for the jeep, we went and got them from 4 wheel parts and installed them when I got back. It was the easiest install I have ever done I think.

On the way back on 485, the google street view car passed me so I maintained his speed and waved to the camera.

I've always thought the same as well. A garage isn't just for cars, but for lawn tools, etc. We looked at some homes that had a "2 car garage" and I don't think the TL would have fit alongside the Elantra.

Our lot is massive with lots of grass; only two small non-grass areas around the house and a total of 0.79 acre. I just went to Lowe's and picked out a John Deere that I like. $1500

I've been on Craigslist looking for one but it seems like rusted to hell mowers from the 80s are still commanding $400. It's not cheap but I would rather buy new, have a warranty, and know that it'll be taken care of properly.

This would be my garage. A garage was one of the most important things on my list and I ended up compromising on it as our house checked every other item on my list 100%.

Sounds like you will be able to work on a car in your garage with the other one still in the garage which is awesome.

Added a new mod this weekend. To Eric's disappointment it was to the house and not the cars.

The inspection is today

Mitzi took off of work since I wasn't able to. Future MIL is in town as well since she hasn't seen the house yet.

Damn this looks really good. Also if I am looking at the APR site correctly there is a stage 2 upgrade kit that will make the allroad do 0-60 in 4.4seconds

Well I know what I want in my next vehicle but yes I don't know what my next vehicle will be. I want as fast or almost as fast as the IS-F, has to handle as well as the IS-F, and it needs to have more storage. That last one basically means it has to be an SUV or a Wagon.

The other thought going through my mind is that maybe I should just drive the IS-F till it dies and try and save enough money to get my dream of an NSX.

You can just go to your local Acura dealership and tell them that you want to replace your locking lugs with regular ones. They have a key set and will take off your current ones.

You can't buy the keys individually.

Are the new lugs ball seat? That's what you need if you have OEM wheels.

Hendrick Acura is the only one I'm aware of.

Good news guys, the house passed inspection! The inspector said for being 24 years old, the house is in immaculate shape. There are only a few minor things he said we should have fixed but none of them are detrimental to the house.

The water heater should be replaced within a year due to it's age but it's still alive and kicking for now.
