Such a gorgeous ring. I like the CF-style weave that it's sitting on. Will your band have CF in it? Hella lightweight yo
And I will come and steal your keys if you spray paint your bumper. You have all these sets of baller wheels and you don't want to spend a few hundred to have the bumper painted properly

The cf weave is Dorthy's kindle fire cover from target lol.
I washed my car earlier and decided it doesn't need painting. It wasn't as bad as I thought.
Thanks. and thanks. I took it with my 35mm and cropped the hell out of the photo. I'm sure an actual micro lens would do a lot better.
Eric you are only downgrading the quality and hard work you put into your car if you spray paint it.
In the tunnel itself I may have seen triples
The clocked me on the other side he said at 82 and wrote me a ticket for 80 so I didn't get reckless driving and have to come back to VA to appear for it.
Still waiting to hear if you are actually heading to Snowshoe at all as well.

I love tunnels and it sucks the VA police have to be so good at what they do. I will NOT drive my TL into VA until it has renewed tags haha, and they will probably pull me for window tint as well.
What is Snowshoe?
Thanks Jack. and yes it is about time.

Damn, you're making great progress! I can't wait to see everything installed.
I'm not sure how I feel about the color of the wheels but I think it's because of all the different color lights on the front end. Look into removing the amber from the headlights and install yellow fog bulbs instead of the yellow film

It blows my mind how much of a difference a simple headlight mod and front lip changed the look of my girlfriend's IS.

Yes it did. Now imagine if you fixed your bumper, got those carbon winglets custom made to fit the TL, and put a spoiler on it. Imagine how much of a difference that would make. Oh and as always I have to include you should tune the engine but pretty sure that is a lost cause at this point with you.

im not too worry about too much colors, my theme probably gonna be like Chinese new year color. gold and red. plus trying to co - accent the type s stuff like the red interior lights and gauges. i want the car to get attention, i thought about making some replica RPG to mount on top of the roof rack but i think the local police wont like too much. plus i am asian but look mexican so there really gonna gun after me. lol
and eric i about to go take some picture right now hopefully i have enough lighting after my battery charges. i been trying to take some before picture but time and weather have been holding me back. im excited but it been hard to work in these 40-50 degree weather.

Working today. Car projects will have to wait till later I guess. Have a new mod for the F, tow hook to re-install on TSX, and some wiring cleanup I want to do as well hopefully before Megan returns.

Finally home from work. Between today at work and yesterdays long detail of the Lexus and working on the TSX I am exhausted. Time for a few beers and watching hockey. I wanted to work on the car more tonight but right now I don't even want to move.

Anyone ever recharged their A/C or completely refilled it? I don't think mine was redone after the accident and I am taking a trip to Atlanta in it in April and figure that it might be a bit useful to have. Been reading conflicting things about whether I can do it or not online.
#9398
as civicdrivr said you can't vent it into the atmosphere, that illegal. if your a/c system is over charge then it won't work, if it undercharge the compressor usually kick on and off alot which is bad for the compressor. also after the accident did they replace any of the a/c line? if so then the refrigerant has leaked out already. i would take it to a local shop that has an a/c recover/recharge machine. also they can test the vacuum if your a/c system is fully sealed. also can test for sealant/other gases in your refrigerant.
with those a/c refill can, be careful since some of them contain some type of sealant, once your system contain sealant most shop won't want to work on your a/c system.
just been certified by MACS (mobile air conditioning society) sec 609 lol. plus just recharge the tl a/c system lost like 6 oz of refrigerant after 4-5 years.
